I have sold my property to a client of ABSA and ABSA issued a payment guarantee for Madibeng Municipality on 14 April 2022 to confirm that they will pay the rates clearance fees at Madibeng. The property was transferred on 02 May 2022 and they took a portion of my money (proceeds of the sale) to pay Madibeng Municipality. A payment they guaranteed will be made on the 02 May 2022. Today, 30 September 2022, they still never paid the Municipality (according to the municipality) and they are charging interest on the outstanding amount and threatening to send me to their collections department. I have contacted the bond attorneys used by ABSA and ABSA home loans to send me proof of payment if they indeed made payment since August but my requests were blatantly ignored.
I have struggled with connection and the payment timed out after being paid over and the payfast support team immediately jumped into action after I notified them and they assisted me to trace the payment. They also assisted with a retailer that was slow to deliver and slow to respond to my inquiry. i am happy to use their quick, safe and convenient payment system.
I have been with Nedbank for over 15 years and it was never because I'm tied to them by debt, it was mainly because I'm generally satisfied with their services and offerings. In the 15 years I did call the customer service centre several times but I never had to stay over the phone for more than 5 minutes. Their consultant stayed with me on the phone for 25 minutes last Friday while I was struggling with network and finding the documents required to assist me. Even after all the wait she gave me time to test out the item I needed help with to made sure I can use it properly before terminating the call. I have never seen such patience in my life and really wish I was not so horrible with names so I can name my number 1 consultant. Thank you Nedbank. I will venture with you to even greater heights.
I purchased a recliner and a Plasma TV Stand in AUGUST and now 4 months later I am still waiting for delivery. I have received the recliner a month after purchase after numerous enquiries but to date I still did not receive the Plasma TV Stand and I'm being send from pillar to post. This is the worst experience I have ever come across and it annoys me to see the product still being advertised, meaning that supply is not likely the problem.
