Store - Pedros Zevenwacht Worst after service by Far. I had the manager of Pedros Zevenwacht call me since I lodged a complain, here is the content below: ""VERY VERY DISSAPOINTED: - Burnt/rotten chips - Extremely oily - none of the chicken was well done as requested. My Wife had to throw all the food in the airfryer but the chips was extremely oily. We ended up throwing it away. There was no sauce on the chicken after saying extra chicken on the basting sauce. I will never buy by pedros zewenwacht ever again. Worst experience ever. I live in mitchells plain It takes me atleast 40 minutes to get 5o zewenwacht. I was in cape gate and decided to go to this pedros and I never tried it but I am so dissapointed."" Manager called me 2 days ago November 4th, 2023 and here is the dialogue below: Manager- I am sorry for the inconvenience. I see that you sent us a picture of the chips. I will be happy to replace your chips when you come to to advise me that he apologies for my issue I experience and he is willing to replace my chips when I come again. Customer (Myself) - This call is a waste of my time. You can clearly see the condition of the chips and the chicken was also not well done, we ended up having to throw it in the airfryer but because it was load shedding I was not able to fry the chicken and my wife made us something else. Manager - I am so sorry. Do you have a picture of the chicken. Customer - We did not take picture of chicken. We ended up giving the food away the following day. Manager - Since you did not send a picture, I cant do anything about it. Customer - I want you to take a look at my phone number and my wifes and you see how many times we buy pedros, this is the first time we ordered from pedros zevenwacht and this is by far the worst experience i ever received. Manager - Let me speak to my manager to see what we can do. Customer - Are you not a manager? Manager - Yes I am but I need to find out by our regional. Customer - You can give the chips to someone in the store, Im really not interested. Additionally if you really wanted to do something for me, you make sure your manager allows you to sort me about by pedros in mitchells plain. Manager - I will contact him and get back to you later. Customer - Okay. 2nd call (December 6, 2023) - 2 days later. Manager - Hi, I am calling from pedros Customer - Hello how can I help you? Manager - I spoke to my manager and I can give you a quarter chicken and chips when you come to zevewacht. Customer - This is a waste of my time again, please dont call me again. THE WORST SERVICE BY FAR I PROMISE. I HAVE NEVER COME ACCROSS SUCH AND IMCOMPETENT PERSON IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. BAD SERVICE. DONT GO TO PEDROS ZEVENWACHT EVER.
Pathetic Service all around. I went for suit fittings on October 7th, 2023 by Mr suit hire cape gate. I took my Sneakers with that I was going to wear. I came there and a gentleman or the manager helped me. While fitting on the suit, I called my mom since she is a tailor/dressmaker and asked her advise. The guy seem to have an attitude to everything my mom was saying. Any way I did not say anything and he pinned the trousers and blazer according to my length and my request.. I made the booking to collect the suit on October 13th, 2023. I arrived there on October 13th, 2023 in the morning on a Friday. The lady who gave me the suit (fair of complexion) opened the zip of the suit bag briefly and checked the pockets, she then proceeded to take payment of R550 for the suit. I was only taking the trousers and jacket. I took it and carried the suit by the hanger to my car through cape gate mall. I placed the suit flat in the boot of my 7 seater van which has ample space since I dropped the back seats. I came home and decided to fit it on, to my surprise the actual trousers was to short in length and was not on my measurements. I called the suit place and explained to the gentleman (Manager) who assisted me that the pants was the incorrect length,he insisted that this was the length I said. I told him it is not and I had my sneakers with, this is the same length he initially wanted to make it which I told him I was not happy and he adjusted it. The jacket was also not pressed at all and I did not evaluate the jacket thoroughly at this time. I did however see that every time I put the jacket on, a few of the stitches by the arm inside came loose. The jacket looked extremely untidy since the is 4 buttons on the sleeve and 2 was folded to the inside and it was hand sewed but not pressed which resulting in you being able to see the buttons tucked into the inside, I was extremely disappointed and this was poor workman ship. The manager told me I should come in, I live approximately 40km from cape gate so it costs me about R300-R400 to get there and home on fuel. I told him that it would not be possible since my event is on Saturday (October 14th, 2023 6PM) and I would not be able to still come in. He advised that he will refund me for the trousers (R100) if I could get a tailor to alter it for me. I told him its short notice, I would have to see and will let him know on Saturday Morning (October 14th, 2023). I managed to get a tailor to perform the following on the suit the Friday night: - Remove the old stitching of the trousers - Remove additional stitching on the inside of the trousers (This was done to ensure there is no folds at the bottom when doing the hand sewing) - Hand sew the correct length with my sneakers on - repair the jacket which stitching was all loose in the sleeve and remove the 2 buttons on the inside of the sleeve of each arm. - Press the jacket - And press the trousers on the new length While fitting on the jacket for the tailor, I inspected the jacket and found yellowish marks on the underarms jacket which clearly shows the jacket was dirty, when I told the manager on Saturday morning about this (On the call), he said it is not a new jacket, and a thousand people probably wore the clothes, I told him I understand but it can still be cleaned probably. He said that he will refund me the full amount of the suit, I explained to him it is not even about the money, I wont drive so far to get bad service, that is the problem I have. He advised he told the lady in the store as he will be off on Monday and she will take care of refund. He also advised I need to leave my banking details on Monday (October 16th, 2023) when I drop the suit and he will EFT the money. Monday (October 16th, 2023) I made my way to the Mr suit hire cape gate to return the suit, upon returning the suit, the lady that helped me (Coloured lady with spectacles on and grey hair) took the suit out and examined the suit, I explained to her what tailor all had to do. she insisted that the trousers was a measurement I gave in centimeters which is not correct. I did not take no measurements and the guy that assisted me (Manager) just tucked in the pants and pinned it there. I told her that it is disappointing that she would think that and dos not believe me. I explained to her about the stitches inside the trousers at the bottom opened to get a nice fold adjustment and she said abruptly that she does the alterations and there was no need for this, I told her that the tailor told me this and also showed me how it would make folds. I then showed her the yellow marks under the arms on the inside of the jacket and she said directly to my face this is impossible that the suit left like this and I quote “This is clearly very dirty and my manager would never let the suit leave the shop like this”, I told her that I told him about this Saturday morning which is prior to my event (Which is in the evening). I asked her if I strike her as someone who wants to lie about things to get money and she said no. My accessories, like Shirt and bow tie alone cost more than the suit itself. I also advised her that the tailor showed me all the loose black cotton laying in the lining of the jacket which you can see if you hold the white jack out to the light. She advised it is the factory and not them, which was so confusing because if it is a factory fault, why not send it back. she further went on saying that this is the first time someone is complaining about this. I told her that it does not make it acceptable or right. The suit was not for free. I could of gone to any other suit place but I was recommended to go to mr Suit hire. Additionally Mr Suit hire in its entirety made over 3k alone on Saturday for hiring the suits out on that day by my family alone, my 2 brothers and cuzin hired suits aswell by mr suit hire N1 city. I made it very clear that she is saying that I am lying and I told her I am not happy about this. I wrote down my banking details and I was on my way, while walking in cape gate mall to get a coffee, she called me to advise that she spoke to the Area manager and that he said he will refund me for the jacket but not for the trousers because I cut the pants. I told her it was not cut, the stitches was merely loosened and probably only 5-10mm. I told her that your manager clearly says he was going to refund me the full amount so I am not sure why there is a disconnect. What I found funny is that she took the time to call her area manager to explain/complain about me and the trousers. Why did she not call him while I was there, I also asked her for the Area manager number and she refused to give it to me. This now became a problem for me because I had to be at mr suit hire on 3 different days, coming all the way from Mitchell’s plain which costs me about R300- R400. which amounts to R900 - R1200 just in fuel to get there on 3 different occasions. I am extremely furious and there is clearly miss-communication and high levels of incompetency by Mr suit hire cape gate. I am seeking someone to call me back. This is now not any longer about the suit refund but much more. I feel humiliated and spoken down to by staff and false accusations made against me. Please contact me ASAP. I would like to escalate this to the highest point.
Hello, I am calling regarding tracking number Z20******121 - Package has been at the cape town Depot at South bay since 01/12/22 06:57. - I called in yesterday around 2pm and the lady told me there is alot of deliveries, It is scheduled for delivery today (December 2nd, 2022). - I called this morning and the lady said she must check on the parcel, she will call me back, I said I dont trust that but she said she need to go to the other side of the depot to go find out, she will call me back. She calls me back after 1 hour and 30 minutes to tell me the same thing, that the package is at south bay depot and there are a lot of deliveries and their couriers are working tomorrow, so they will deliver tomorrow. I requested to speak to a manager and I was transferred to another agent and then that agent said she was not a manager and then transferred me again and then the line dropped. I spent over 45 minutes on the line with you guys and no success. I have waited yesterday and today at home for the package, please escalate this ASAP as I will not be at home tomorrow. This is extremely bad service. I expect feedback ASAP!!
