On Sunday last week, my husband and self decided to treat ourselves to the lunch Buffet.<br> What a disappointment and waste of money. Besides it only opening at 1-00pm with<br> a que forming, we waited for nearly 30min for a glass of wine and a beer.,<br> I do understand there is a strike on - but service?<br> The food was terrible, only a few salads were nice, the stews awful, and worst, the roasts<br> of only chicken and pork were so dried out. The dessert looked nice but we decided to leave so did<br> not try anything.
I have had a policy with Clientele for quite a few years, mainly for the Dread Disease cover.<br> Now I have the big C and contacted them - after many calls, they sent the claim form which had to be completed by my DR - another appointment to be paid for. After 2 weeks, Clientele called me to say my claim was invalid as the cover had ceased when I turned 60 - I am now 65. What annoys me most, is should I have<br> known, I would have taken the cover out with another Insurance to cover me until death - which I assumed this policy was. When I querried why I had not been informed, I was told it was in the Policy, which, I still have not yet seen. I was told my premiums had gone into a kind of savings account which I could cash out.<br> This is just so unfair!
