I paid SA Furniture Removals in February for a move I later cancelled. They confirmed I’d get a full refund by the end of March. Months later, I’ve received only small, irregular amounts — less than half of what I paid — and communication has stopped.
I paid SA Furniture Removals in March for a move that I had to cancel due to a change in plans. I informed them well in advance and was assured that my deposit would be refunded. It’s now August, and despite numerous follow-ups, I still haven’t received any money back. The lack of communication and failure to follow through on their own promises is deeply disappointing. This kind of service is unacceptable, and I cannot recommend them based on my experience.
I would not recommend SA Furniture Removals to anyone. I contacted them in February to assist with my move. They offered me a discount if I paid immediately, which I did. Unfortunately, my circumstances changed and I no longer needed to move. I informed them in good time, and they confirmed that I would receive a full refund by the end of March. Since then, I’ve only received small amounts — sometimes as little as R200 per week. They promised to settle the full amount by the end of July, but now they are completely ignoring me. They’re also twisting the story, claiming that I asked for payment at the end of July — which is not true. They haven’t even refunded half of what I paid. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with: no responsibility, no honesty, just empty promises. I truly regret ever contacting SA Furniture Removals.
It was very pleasant experience and Zahier Zaheed Abdul was so friendly and helpful. He did not mind all of my questions. I will definitely recommend dial direct.
I’ve already written a review before, but I feel the need to speak out again. The company promised to refund me in full since March 2025, but to this day I’ve only received R3350 — and they still owe me money. Time and time again, they’ve made promises, but nothing has come of it. Three weeks no money, after they promised weekly payments, their idea. I feel completely discouraged. It feels like I have to beg for my own money, money that is rightfully mine. How is it fair that I, as a customer, am treated this way? This whole experience has been exhausting and incredibly disappointing. I’m simply asking for what is owed to me.
I hired SA Furniture for a move scheduled at the end of March. When I had to cancel due to a job offer falling through, I gave early notice. They confirmed I was entitled to a full refund and said it would be processed by the end of March. That deadline passed without payment. Since then, I’ve received excuse after excuse. They later promised monthly installments starting mid-April—nothing was paid. After pursuing legal action, I received only R2300, a small portion of the total. They then claimed weekly payments would follow, but again, no further payments came through. Their communication, once polite and responsive, has nearly stopped altogether. It’s been extremely frustrating to deal with. I do not recommend SA Furniture. If your plans change, expect serious difficulty recovering any money. This experience has been deeply disappointing.
