FAMILY FIRES WILL BURN YOU
<p>Family Fires in Honeydew is owned by Deon. He is extremely rude and threatening .He has no interest in customer satisfaction. In June 2016 Family Fires supplied and installed a fireplace. After waiting the recommended three days we tried to light a fire withot success. The following day their rep came and tried. The fire would only stay lit if the door was left open resulting in a smoky home. The glass got covered in a black sticky soot. Family Fires blamed the wood. I asked ...Deon to come and inspect the installation. He still hasn't been. Eventually I got hold of the importers, Blaze. Four of their staff arrived and did tests. Their conclusion was that the installation was not satisfactory and that the flues were inadequate. They offered me a new unit which I accepted. I had to pay for additional lengths of flues. After long and protracted arguements Deon of Family Fires agreed to refund me R2000. A month went by so I reminded Deon that i hadn't been paid yet. Said would pay at the end of September. On 28th September I sent him a mail reminding him that payment was due on 30th His reaction "You did not need to remind me but you don't give up so a lesson must be taught" I am still waiting for the R2000 refund.<br /> DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FAMILY FIRES!!</p> <p> </p>
