I am very frustrated with Spec-Savers, my daughter has been going there for the past 3 years as they offer the free for kids under 12 special. I had to make an appointment this year and was telephonically told I can only book online. Checked online only to see that the date I need to mark the 1 year after her previous appointment was not available yet (it only shows dates for a time period of 8 weeks and every day another day opens up), on the day that specific date opened, I checked in the morning at 07:00 only to find the whole day was already fully booked, I waited another day and again the following day was already fully booked. Phoned them again and they still couldn't help me with an appointment, even went in store and still couldn't help me make an appointment. I don't understand how it is possible for the days to be just suddenly fully booked when that specific day only opened today, I can understand if I wanted to book 2 weeks in advance, but I literally waited for that day to open online. I am taking my daughter elsewhere to do her eyes and they made my appointment over the phone without any trouble and even assisted me way before the 1 year lapse. Guess I am supporting them from now on.
I visited the Builders Warehouse in Centurion on the 13th of April, I was assisted by Stanley Tshidavhula and I must say, his service was unbelievable, I never experienced such kindness before from any retailer. He assisted me from start to finish and even assisted me with the trolley to my car. Thank you Stanley wish we had more like you.
Even though we decided to move our policy from Discovery, Tasmina Nair from the Sandton branch was very helpful and understanding.
We placed and paid an online deal on the 30th of October 2019 for a Midea 28l Silver microwave. They said online delivery will between 2-5 working days. We received the microwave on the 6th of November 2019, only to find the send the totally wrong microwave, they sent a White 20l Midea microwave. We phoned the online team on the same day where they said we had to submit the return online, we did so immediately giving the reason why we are returning it. On the 9th of November a Martin Hlongwane sent an email asking us again why we are returning the microwave????? We phoned the customer care on the 13th of November and spoke to a Phindile, Phindile informed us that the product was purchased through a third party namely "Market Place", which actually shouldn't have any effect as we bought it directly with Makro. However she said that the "Market Place" will phone us back within 2-4 hours, it is now the 14th of November 2019 almost 24 hours later and still haven't received any phone call. We also asked Phindile how long this will take just to return the microwave so that we can get the correct one (the microwave is purchased for our company and is used on a daily basis), she said 7-14 working days???????? First of all we received the incorrect parcel and now it is taking forever just to return it????? We also sent an email on the 13th of November stating the issue and we need urgent co-operation, but still nothing.
I have been trying to get hold of the SA Post Office via email and telephone since the 5th of June 2018. Nobody is coming back to me regarding a product I have purchased on the 25th of April 2018. The store where I bought the product from informed me on the 8th of May 2018 that the parcel has arrived in South Africa. After which I have enquired with SA Post Office to find out more or less I will receive the parcel, but they do not respond to my emails and I never get answer on their customer service phone number as well as the general office number. This is insane, how long can one wait for a parcel. Bad service from SA Post Office and also to anyone who should be answering their phones....
I am sooooo pleased with this company. I received the best quote, the best service, everything about this place is just awesome!!! Thank you so much!!!
My husband owns a Triumph Daytona motorcycle which gave a bit of a problem. We took the motorcycle to Triumph Centurion Lifestyle, as we thought as it is a Triumph dealership / repair shop. What a waste! They had excuses after excuses on what was wrong with the motorcycle. They said some parts are wrong and asked permission to replace it, only to find they never replaced it. We waited for 4 weeks (can be more) and still could they not help us. We then collected the motorcycle ourselves to take to someone else who would be more helpful, when we came there the motorcycle's petrol tank was scratched, some parts were not available to take home and some parts missing, REALLY!!!!!! We confronted them about the tank and they said they will fix and respray the tank, and again when they delivered the tank, it was not resprayed, only the part on the tank that was damaged was patched, the stickers on the tank was removed and not replaced. They collected the tank again and still are we waiting for the tank, going on 4 weeks if not more. When we try to get hold of the managers, they are never available. NO ONE is ever available to assist.
