In 2022, I contacted a few companies to have outdoor blinds installed in my home. One of the companies was Outdoor Blinds in Benoni. They came through, gave me a quote of R44 000, which was definitely not the cheapest but cheap wasn't what I was looking for. The sales person at the time did a great job with customer service so I went with them. Paid the full amount in full and upfront. I was told it would take 4 week for production which I was fine with. Fast forward to October 2022, blind still not complete, excuse upon lame excuse about factory delays, no calls or feedback from owner or sales people. I contacted them on numerous occasions. We are already heading into the end of December and still no joy, eventually they came a fee days before the 25th, did a slapsash job with the blinds on my carport, a few. A few months later the blinds tears and completely because it was pulled so tight cos they cut the one side short and the blind wasn't fitted straight, contacted their offices again and still nothing. Then toward the end of Dec they sent someone through, he tells me it was bad workmanship and they took measurements and said they see where the problem is. When I followed up to ask the lady who I have been communicating with said the guys she sent told her that it was our fault and it's not their responsibility. Even though their guarantee cover material they are doing nothing to rectify the issue except talking nonsense. People please do your research before using this company, they have no business ethic or integrity, their guarantee of workmanship and material is a lie even though it's there in black and white. Another ******* company out to take your money and provide no service except excuse after excuse because of terrible workmanship, be wary of Mike has he no intention of rectifying wrongs, very doggy business with even dodgier employees who lie to get out of correcting their wrongs, Outdoor Blinds in Benoni, you are a disgrace to all upstanding businesses in South Africa and people deserve to know about the way you do business and that you have no intent of honoring your clients with professionalism and proper work! The one star is even too good for your business and if there was an option of no stars, that's what u would have gotten!
Last year July I had to replace the LCD on my Samsung A32. I was in Durban at the time, my son took me to a place in Chatsworth centre, Sound Tech...they charged me R2500 for a new original LCD. Even when we tried to access my phone using the fingerprint login, it refused to work. The guy who helped me assured me the screen was original and I asked many times. On a high quality replica, the biometrics does not work. He said to me I will have to recalibrate my phone and it should start working. Well this week my phone fell and the screen cracked. I went to the Samsung store only for them to tell me that the screen is not an original. Yesterday I called Sound Tech and spoke to a guy who then told me to speak to the owner, Mohammed. While on the call, in the midst of me telling him what happened, he starts talking to someone else and then puts the phone down on me. I tried calling back and then they answer the call, I tell them who it is and they leave the phone aside and carry on with whatever they are doing, ignoring the fact that I'm on the phone. Mohammad never came to the phone or even returned my call after i emailed him my details. After reading reviews on the appalling service u guys offer, I wouldn't be surprised that you are duping clients into paying R2500 for a screen that goes for R850 everywhere else. Just because I could afford to pay for the screen, it doesn't mean u had to play me for a fool. If u run your business this way, I shudder to think what other underhanded things u do, it's a disgrace! Soundtech Chatsworth Centre you are a bunch of dishonest people !!@ Mohammed, u should give up on being a businessman, u have no morals or integrity! It's no wonder u don't allow people to post on your Facebook page, cos they would all have the same thing to say. If there was an option for no stars I would have selected that!
