I made a booking through them for ST Helena Island and the hotel was the same name and I booked it (error was that this hotel was in the USA and not on ST Helena Island. I realised immediately and phoned and emailed booking.com regarding this error. They said they would assist and get a hold of the hotel (St Helena ********** They then told me I must now contact them directly. I tried to get a hold of the hotel but could not. I then emailed booking.com and Vincent said he would assist me with this. He has disappeared and now I get an email from Mayra to say they will not refund me! They have now taken a further amount (so I have paid twice -amount in excess of R12000.00 and they saying they do not refund. I am shocked at booking.com as I have used them before and now they have stolen double the amount of the booking that I cannot use and I have now had to cancel my trip to ST Helena Island as I have been robbed of R12000.00 from booking.com. I warn people to not use booking.com as they are THIEVES.
I have had such a bad experience with this company in that they charged me in excess of R90 000.00 to waterproof and paint my house, within 4 months of them doing the job the damp was all back and my house was even more damaged. On contacting them they have just lied and promised to repair the job but then they would sent a letter saying it had nothing to do with them. I have taken this to the Office of the consumer of the Western Cape and they have handed this over the the NCC as they said this company does not appear to be heeding their instructions. Wetcor keeps on emailing total lies and what they are doing is just stalling this process to avoid making good their terrible workmanship. They claim to use a fancy product from Switzerland for their waterproofing, which is a total lie as this product did nothing. Please beware people this company is really bad.

I see that Speck Pumps has decided to make some fictitious complaint against my company regarding a traffic fine. This is laughable and a lie and not the reason for non payment of our account. Yes my driver did incur a traffic fine of which we sorted out immediately and transferred the fine into the drivers name and he paid it. The money they owe me are for services rendered in that we supplied them with a driver to do their deliveries of which they were paid by their client, and yet they refusing to pay me and saying that my driver stole a part of a pool pump. There was no proof at all provided by Speck Pumps - they only informed us of this theft 2-3 months after the driver had driven there and when we were asking for payment. This allegation was also refuted by the driver in a signed statement by him. Speck pumps obviously don't like paying for services rendered and they are fully aware that for a small company like mine I cannot afford to take them to court for R2500.00. I find their bullying tactics very unethical and downright disgusting. Hopefully they will see the error of their ways and settle their bill to show they are ethically sound. We wait in anticipation.
Despite me complaining about this company before, I have still had no payment from them and now they are threatening me! I cannot understand how a company can sign terms and conditions and then refuse to pay. They are fully aware that I am too small to sue them for R2600.00 yet this is a hard hit for my company as it is a direct loss. This company is really bad and I would not do business with them ever. Do not use them for your pool requirements as they are unethical and they use \bullying"tactics when it comes to paying their suppliers."""
I supplied a driver to Speck Pumps in Cape Town. They used him for quite a long period of time. I sent them invoices weekly but they failed to pay them according to their terms and conditions with us. They then stopped using the driver as they sourced one of their own. They paid their account but failed to pay a substantial amount. When I inquired as to why, they came with some long story about our driver stealing a \piece of a pool pump"and this is why they have not paid this amount. As they were fully aware that should an incident occur with any of my staff at their premises we need to be informed within 48 hours of the incident occurring"
We are happy to inform you that Virgo has paid their account in full and no further action will be required. Thank you for the payment it is much appreciated.
We supplied Virgo Logistics with drivers to deliver their goods from A to B. They hired them for a period of time and we billed them according to timesheets that Virgo signed off in acceptance of the hours worked by our drivers. They then just refused to pay their account and made pathetic excuses about my drivers and how bad they were. The problem is that these complaints were made 3 months after we stopped supplying them (due to non payment) and only due to me saying I would hand them over to my legal department. They received drivers that generated them income by delivering their stock for them and I paid the drivers their wages for the period they worked at Virgo Logistics - so at the end of the day I am out of pocket and Gerhardt Theron at Virgo refuses to settle my account. He is aware that to try and sue for anything under R12 000.00 is costly and never ends with good results as the court costs are high and it ends up costing more. This type of business behaviour is extremely dangerous, I am a small company who relies very much on our clients to pay us for work done (as we pay wages to the staff prior to receiving money from the client). They should be closed down!
