We bought two Typo water bottles after the sales lady told us that the capability of the water bottles to keep the water cool for a very long period at a time. (At least a full day). They lied! After realising we've been misled, and several attempts to contact their customer service, I've got in contact with a lady called Mandy. Mandy promised to sort it out and led me to believe that everything is going to be all right. But!!!!!!! After about a month of no correspondence, I contacted Mandy. I asked her why they haven't responded or done anything else? She immediately accused me of raising my voice (I did not) and also pointed that it is a very long process and complicated situation for we do not stay next to a typo store. I repeatedly said that I am not raising my voice but she carried on. The situation got so out of hand that I told her, If that is the way Typo do business! We will most definitely not do business with them at all. I also told her that she can keep her refund and that I will be throwing away the trash that I paid R300.00 for. Be very careful when it comes to Typo products and avoid contact with their employees. I almost guarantee disappointment.
I purchased a Dillon Square Deal reloader from one of their distributors. On the 10th of November 2017. After driving approximately 250km to collect the machine from their dealer, just to find the machine without al the parts needed to assemble. I had no other choice but to drive thru again 250km to collect the parts just to find out on the day a qualified person came to do the setup that even more parts is missing. I phoned them and explained that we are having our final shoot the very next day, the salesman said his hands is tight down and there is nothing he could do about it. I did mention that the transaction has been a disaster from the first moment we had any contact. I also mentioned that I am the only person having to continue to spend money for mistakes they made by not making sure that the machine was complete and or setup correctly. The only solution they considered was to ship the outstanding parts two days after our final shoot for 2017. If I were to calculate the cost to me, I could have bought the bigger machine the RB550. I still think the Dillon is an extraordinary product but this dealer is doing damage to the quality, reliability, back-up and name of the product. I regred having to deal with anyone who does not support their products and don't give a s%$#@ about the customer.
I am the unfortunate owner of a Velodyne SUB. I actually owned two models but after the first unit gave me problems, I got rid of it. Unfortunately in my stupidity, bought the High end sub woofer! Now I am stuck with a local distributor trying to assist as best they could but with no response or backup from the manufacturer. Without the spares, the sub is worth nothing! I've spend a lot with the distributor over the years and still think they are awesome people but, without spares or backup I am afraid they will loose business. Hopefully we won't need to go the legal route but, I will most definitely proceed with that option if not resolved swiftly. I picked up a technical problem with my sub about two years ago. Sub was inspected by a qualified technician of the importers without susses. The sub has recently expired the warranty period and suddenly the fault was identified. This resulted in a bill of huge repair cost. HUGE! Velodyne USA does not respond or give feedback on this matter.
