Platinum Life (Indian guy) calls me to congratulate me for being selected for a free gift. A few weeks later he calls to follow up that I received it which I did - Thank you. He offers free accidental insurance while I provide him referrals contacts, line drops and I call him back. He answers saying he didnt call me and to F off... :) Nice customer service Platinum Life!

My vehicle was delivered to Kondylis Motors for repairs on 9 October 2021. After many follow ups and delays the vehicle was ready for collection on Friday 6 November 2021 at 15:30pm. On collection I noticed a number of issues and it was agreed that I will take the vehicle for further inspection over the weekend providing I return with a snag list the following Tuesday. I provided my insurance broker a synopsis of what has transpired. To my surprise I was greeted by Mr. Kondylis when I delivered the vehicle for review of the repairs. He advised me that he will personally be taking care of the repairs and that he won't be satisfied until I am happy with the work being carried out. I collected the vehicle 2 days later with a personal handover of the keys by Mr. Kondylis. I am very happy with the final product and appreciative that Mr. Kondylis took time out to attend to my vehicle himself. As the business owner, he was open minded to my concerns and apologized for the inconvenience previously experienced.
I recently moved back to South Africa and in anticipation of the move I ordered a bed from Coricraft knowing that it will take 4-6 weeks. My sister approached the Tygervalley branch and dealt with Angelo. 5 weeks into placing the cash order amongst many other items i inquired when i can expect delivery at which i was told "Friday". Friday turned into Monday, Monday turned in Wednesday, which continued for about 2 more weeks. When the order finally arrived, the base could not fit into the headboard. An assessor was sent out and after calling Coricraft manufacturing department a couple of days i finally spoke to Annel whom advised me they will have to make a new bed and they would offer me a loan bed. I declined the offer and that i would stick to what i have until the new one arrived subsequently on the 7th November, 9 weeks into placing the order. My concern is the unprofessional behaviour of the Salesman at Coricraft Tygervalley, Angelo! He provided me his mobile number to forward him sms' received from coricraft claiming i owe money on the order when i paid cash, sent his colleagues pictures of the irregular bed but yet i got no reply to my messages. When i approached him instore he claimed his phone is for personal use only after standing at his desk for 20 mins while he casually spoke on his office phone. After I called a manager over to assist, Angelo had no answer to why he would not respond to my messages other than they cannot call my mobile. I resorted to ordering items from the Canalwalk branch and they can call my mobile just fine. Angelo does not qualify to be a salesman with his lack of expertise. He requires further training on basic customer service and etiquette. Ignoring a customer for 20 mins simply because he cannot deal with the situation requires professionalism and experience which he clearly lacks. ...I hope to have a proper bed by November 7th...
