I am totally disappointed with the Bedfordview branch. The service my wife received was absolutely unacceptable. She took my three year old daughter there for glasses on Tuesday, 19 November 2024. My wife took a prescription we got from a very well known ophthalmologist there to get a pair of glasses for my daughter. She really needs them urgently because her vision is affecting the eyes in a manner that it is causing squint eyes. They told us that they must get authorization from GEMS (our medical aid). They also said they must give a motivation. I cannot understand that, because the ophthalmologist already motivated it. My wife followed up a couple of times and it sounded that they were irritated with her. They keep on telling us that they will get back to us, which they never did even once. I still don't understand what the hold up is and today (Wednesday, 27 November 2024) is already 8 days later. Please DO NOT support them.
My name is Ashle van Aardt and I purchased a new VW T-Cross on Wednesday, 26 April 2022 Volkswagen the Glen. On arrival, there was some marks/stains on the bonnet ( I noticed the same stains on the roof when arriving at home) when handing over the keys. I was assured that the car will be booked into the workshop for polishing when I collect the number plates. In the mean time I realised that the start/stop system was not working and reported it to the sales executive. I was told that they will collect my car at my work address and a courtesy car would be left behind for the time it takes to polish and check out the start stop system. That never happened!!! Each day was postponed to the next day, almost every other day. I was told now that there was no courtesy cars and the guys at the workshop is very busy, ( AFTER ALMOST A MONTH??). Last week, we arranged for the Wednesday which was postponed to Thursday (18 May). On the day I was told that we should again reschedule as the sales person has training on that day. I was thanked for reminding her that she had training because even she forgot ( What on earth does that have to do with me??After a couple of weeks, I followed up again and was told that the plates will be couriered to my home address. I requested a tracking number which she agreed on sending to me the following day. The following day (Friday, 19 May) the plates was delivered to my work address. I was told by Granny that we will schedule a day for this week for the T-Cross to be collected and booked into the workshop as well as a courtesy vehicle. On Monday, 22 May 2023, I contacted her via WhatsApp and she confirmed that they will come and collect the car today (24 May 2023) together with providing me with a courtesy vehicle in the meantime. Checking in yesterday ( 23 May 2023) to just make sure that all is still well for today, I was told once again by the sales executive that she completely forgot about her training today and the guys at the workshop has been taking her back and forward. She then rescheduled for tomorrow (25 May 2023) which I highly doubt is going to happen. This morning I was fed up with this going on for a month now. I contacted the New Vehicle sales Manager early this morning. I was told that she will contact me shortly and I am still waiting.
