Pilferage and security breach at OR Tambo and King Shaka airports
Pilferage and security breach at OR Tambo and King Shaka airports is undeniably the new norm!!! I’m an enraged passenger whose bag lock was broken, and personal items stolen. Apart from the tedious administration and overwhelming task to report the incident, the protocols and the security personnel at the airports are just too appalling. ACSA and the respective Airliners are sedentary in their turnaround time to investigate theft and corruption, enabling deceitful baggage handlers to continue stealing without any consequent management. The very same conniving handlers from Swissport, Bidvest etc. are the ones who may be inclined to bribery, to expand their modus operandi for their satiate appetite, citing sabotage to the aircraft, causing malicious damage to property and inflicting harm to the passengers on board. Such deceitful perpetrators should be dismissed before a catastrophic event occurs!!! ACSA and the respective Airlines I pose the question must a near miss or fatality HAPPEN to provoke the need to review the potential risks and to endorse safety measures to alleviate the risks posed to the infrastructure and threat to human life?.......come to think about it pilferage in hindsight is merely a symptom alluding to the bizarre sightings at these airports………… Proposal to ACSA and Airliners kindly grant the passengers an option to carry their own checked-in luggage to the aircraft loading bay to eliminate long hands
