Misleading Billing and Unclear Subscription Activation – Refund Unreasonably Refused I am posting this complaint to warn other consumers about my experience with Coursiv.io and to highlight serious concerns about their billing transparency. I enrolled in a 28-day challenge / 4-week plan on behalf of a friend. Due to an error during registration, the account was created using my email address. The intention was to purchase a once-off 4-week programme, not an ongoing subscription. After the initial payment was made, an ongoing subscription was activated and additional charges were processed. At no point was it clearly communicated to me, in a prominent or unambiguous way, that a recurring subscription would be activated. When I contacted Coursiv.io to explain the situation and request a refund, my request was refused. From a reasonable consumer’s perspective, the billing process was confusing and insufficiently transparent. While terms and conditions may exist, I believe that recurring subscriptions should be clearly highlighted and actively confirmed by the customer before any additional charges are processed. The fact that this transaction was done on behalf of a friend and under my email address further complicated the situation, yet this context was not meaningfully considered in their response. I find it unacceptable that a company offering digital services relies on unclear billing mechanisms and then refuses to assist when customers raise legitimate concerns. I have requested: • Immediate cancellation of the subscription • A refund of the additional charges • Clearer and more ethical communication of subscription terms I am sharing this experience to encourage other consumers to exercise caution when signing up with Coursiv.io and to carefully scrutinise all payment and subscription details. This complaint reflects my personal experience and opinion as a consumer.
Mamelang Kotlolo provided me with quick and great service for something I did not think I have benefits for
Great service, always willing to assist
I cannot believe how inconsiderate this company is. I live next to the railway line in Kilner Park, where they are obviously working on the lines. These inconsiderate workers start working at 11pm at night, singing, music blaring, hooting their bakkie horns and do not give a **** that they are in a residential area. Absolutely no respect. I have tried emailing their head office but no reply. It blows my mind that we no longer have respect for each other in this country.
I contacted Miway this morning with a request for a plumber as my drain was blocked. The call was answered by Edwin who was very professional and helpful. He arranged for a plumber immediately and I am very happy with the service and the fact that my problem is solved.

I was contacted yesterday regarding the collection of a voucher for a free weekend. All I was asked to do was rate the resort afterwards. The lady confirmed dates and times that my partner and I could collect this voucher - nothing was said about a presentation. I told her my partner works until 5:30 and that I would collect the voucher alone. "no problem" she said. Well I showed up today, after driving more than 26km just to be confronted by two young men who claimed that it was a couple's event ... And guess what? You had to sit through a presentation. Do you people enjoy scamming people, or trying to, just so they can buy into your stupid product? I suppose you work through one year gift ... Which explains a lot. I will now report this on social media as well to warn people ... Maybe even Carte Blanche!
