I contacted Alice Shimabwachi from Professional Tree Fellers & they were very good,pleasant & did everything that was asked.So nice to have good service in this day & age.
My last & final review on this matter, I am still waiting for a Vodacom representative to call me. I was assured that they would! No one did, although I was sent a text saying they had dealt with it! Certainly not with me. I seriously will never recommend this company again even though I have been with them for years. My husband needs a new phone & I told him to go to Telkom or Cell C. I have also had to expend more money by buying a power bank because the Galaxy S21 has no battery life. I am exceedingly disappointed with the complete apathy that my problem has been met with.
Update on my experience with this company.After the last review I sent,I was contacted by the guy who sold me the phone,when I asked him why he did not inform me of the free earphones his response was that he as a sales person did not have the same information as the sales people in the Vodashop,I find that very strange,why would half your sales team know of the perks of a particular phone & the other half not!BUT,the kicker is- I complained about the terrible battery life of the Samsung Galaxy 21 and guess what ,I did get a shiny new one AND! it has got exactly the same terrible battery life.. I STILL need to carry a charger with me wherever I go, never in all the years of having a cell phone has this happened, thanks for listening to your customer Vodacom! The best part was on March 31st, at 14h00 I was phoned by Caitlin & told that I had to submit my request by 5pm that day, it was my afternoon off & I had already left the office ,I was informed that there would be no extra charge if I took the deal. I had to scramble about & get my boss to do it for me. I am very displeased with this latest developement, dissatisfied & disgruntled, sorry Vodacom, you do not get my vote.
To whom this may concern, I received a call from a Vodacom consultant who said that I qualified for an upgrade. This was on the 4/02/21,I received the phone on the 10/02/21 I was quite excited as the new Samsung Galaxy 21 was promoted to be the hot new phone & imagine my surprise when I found out that I had to pay for the charging port as the new phones do not supply them, at a cost of over R 400.00 it was a nasty surprise as I did not know this& was not told! I also was not told that if I applied within a certain time frame I could get (very expensive) earphones as this phone also did not come with them, The new phone had a quite shocking battery life & I was having to recharge every couple of hours, imagine my horror when I took it into the Vodacom shop ,the consultant told me it was known to them that this happens with this particular phone! Nice one.. I was also not given the choice to get the pink phone & not the black one. After complaining about the phone it was collected by the Vodacom couriers (RAM) on the 9/03/21.I heard nothing for a week, when I phoned customer care I was told that the whole matter would be escalated by the lady (Catelyn) She assured me that she had a pink set & I would be receiving it soon, when I phoned again today 24/03/21 (still no contact or phone) she assured me someone would phone me back. It is now 15h00..no calls.. I have now contacted the upgrade call line & have spoken to a very nice lady (Nerisha) however I am NOT holding my breath for the promised escalation! I am the only one left in my office who has a contract with Vodacom,& quite frankly ,after this service I will no longer upgrade with them. I am VERY dissappointed at their lack of customer care ,is my one little contract/phone to small for them?
<p>In January this year I got a new upgrade on my Cellphone,I are with Vodacom,I was then contacted my a company called Elite Mobile, ********** 195,the lady I spoke to offered me a very good price on Data,a bundle of 2gig's which would only cost me R119.00 per month.</p> <p>She took down all my details & was very sweet,she then said it would come off my bank in March & the 1st month(Feb) would be free.</p> <p>I then got a whole lot of e-mails telling me my packages would soon be arriving soon & sent me a whole lot of charges for a cell phone & a router & a modem etc,I had a fit as I had not agreed to this,I phoned in & was told I could not speak to the original lady,I told them to immediately cancel the whole order.I was then phoned by a manager who wanted to know why I was upset,I responded by telling her I did not order all the accompanying items,ONLY the data which I was now cancelling as I had wanted it on my existing phone & did not want a new phone.</p> <p>She said ok,it's cancelled.</p> <p>I then was delivered a package to my office which I did NOT sign for.</p> <p>I phoned the & spoke to Veronica,she said my order had been cancelled & she would dispatch a courier to collect it.</p> <p>I was then billed R 119.00</p> <p>I then phoned Elite & spoke to Pravashnee Pillay,she said I was charged as I had their stock,I responded & was pretty irate as I still had the unopened box,she was very snotty & said it took at least 6 weeks to collect something but had no reply when I said they managed to deliver it pretty quickly,she again assured me that the order was cancelled & would collect the box.</p> <p>I was then charged again in April.</p> <p>I phoned Elite again & spoke to Brittany,she again assured me that it was cancelled,the calls are supposedly taped for quality control.</p> <p>I have been to Vodacom who will not cancel the stop order as it is not them(according to the surly chap in the Cresta Branch)I could only cancel with Elite.</p> <p>I went to my Bank(Nedbank) where the teller told me she was not 100% sure it would be cancelled as if they(Elite) change the reference number they could still draw the money!!!!Even though this is MY bank account they supposedly can draw this amount forever!</p> <p>I am at my wits end!What do I do.</p> <p>I am turning 60 on the 23rd April & I desparately need all my money.It cost me an afternoon off work to try & sort this out to seemingly no avail</p> <p>Brittany assured me that they would refund me the 3 lots of money but that has not happened.</p> <p>Is there any possibility of you helping me.</p> <p> </p>
