Eva-Last is a composite deck installer. They provided the decking material to replace my wood deck. We could only use their accredited installer, they recommended Decra Projects ***ner Joramu Kufonya), hence I could not use any other installer. Decra Project owes me R 5 600 from last year and has not returned my monies. I then spoke to Eva-last to try and recoup my money and they could not assist. Decra Projects did a bad job of installing the ramp and I had to get another supplier to fix this issue, whom Eva-last recommended (for warranty purposes, I had to use Eva-last's recommended supplier), the supplier is Ice Projects and Construction ***ner Constant De Witt). A month and a half after installing ramp rails, the rails began to rust, and they keep promising to fix and have not. Ice Project owes me R 1945 for services not rendered. Beware as Eva-last recommends dishonest installers for their decking.

Disgust experience, totally unhelpful and refuses to answer phones or provide any guidance
The online ordering was simple and straightforward and easy to use. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 was because I ordered on the 12 July and received the item on the 29 July2024. There is absolutely no human interaction, everything done is via email.
On the 9 June 2021, I made a an eft payment for a dishwasher to an online store, within a two hour period I realized that the online store was fraudulent. I sent a recalls application form to Nedbank, as I could not reverse the transaction via online banking (I used the chat app to speak to a consultant whom advised me to use complete the recall application form). I was upset when completing the form and made an error on the form, it took Nedbank four working days to get back to me that they could not process the form as there was a error on the form. I then immediately updated the form and resent the form. Now two working days later I am told that the bank could not recall the eft I made due the insufficient funds in the recipients bank account. They have provided me with the cell number for the recipient and of course the recipient is not answering. I did the recall form on the day I realized that I made an error, as I wanted immediate action, the next day I called the call center and was told that there is no dedicated recalls department and the SLA for recalls is 7 working days (which is on the form). My understanding was that I would receive feedback in 7 working days, not that my recall request would be actioned seven days later. I am so disgusted by Nedbank's lack of action in this regard and now I am unable to recover my money. If Nedbank had actioned my recall request on the day they received it , the transaction would have have been reversed within a 24 hour period.
Dear Sir/ Madam

The boundary wall between my neighbours house and my house fell on the 25 Feb 2016 due to a heavy storm.

The wall is a precast wall. The assessor came out and submitted a report to the insurance that the wall was a retaining wall. The insurance then call me and indicated that the claim would not be paid as the policy does not cover a retaining wall.

I don't understand how a precast wall can be a retaining wall.
As of today's date, I have received no other correspondence from the insurance, even though I sent them an email asking how the wall could be a retaining wall if its a precast wall.

I am disgusted that I have paid so much of money and they are very quick to take my money every month but are not willing assess my claim accurately.

Disgusting!!!
