Poor poor poor aftersales service, they hand off warrantee repairs to someone else, no communication, no updates, have no idea what is happening or progress, would not recommend
Vodacom Hello Peter department is just as useless as the rest of the company. If they respond at all they promise the world and never get back to you.
Billed R1271 for a router I never recieved from Vodacom So again Vodacom with the pathetic customer service. And yes I know I will only get an automated response when they see this message, after which I will never hear from them again, that is just the service they deliver. Anyway. Vodacom disconnected my WiFi mistakenly, then took 3 days to reconnect me, asked me to accept a Swopout work order, to reconnect my service and then 2 months later bill me R1271.05 for a new router that I never received. Now after stealing R1271 from my account they tell me that they can not give me any feedback on what is happening with the case and that I need to wait until end of the month to see if its resolved. The consultant ( Chantel Meintjies **********) that originally assisted me is now also ignoring my call and not responding back to me, that after promising me that I will not be billed for anything because this is Vodacoms mistake. Vodacom go listen to your recordings made on 3 Aug 2020 around 14:00 to my cell where Chantel Meintjies commits to such. Even your Hello Peter department is a joke. They called me last week say they will get right back to me with an answer. Like I said, its a week later and nothing.

So I upgraded my contract a month ago to the new Samsung S8 that comes with a J5 additional line with the sole purpose to give the extra phone to my 10 year old daughter. Only to find that the number that Vodacom issued for the additional line was recycled and was previously owned by someone the clearly had no financial common-sense. From the first day the line went active we have been bombarded by loans harks and debt collectors for moneys owned, combined with hundreds of SMS from all the big clothing retailers for outstanding accounts, to the extend that my daughter is now too afraid to keep the phone with her. Vodacom’s response to this was just that they cannot change the number for a top up package……. . So now I ask you, where is Vodacom’s ethics when it comes re-selling second-hand products? And Vodacom, do you want to tell me that your ETHICAL stance is this case is that you are in total disregard for the minor that now needs to use your second hand product? And that is fine that a minor gets verbally abused by loan sharks and debt collectors because VODACOM supplied her with a second-hand product? I would love to convey that message to the press if that is your official stance. It’s been a month now since my upgrade, the local Vodacom store has apparently been trying to reverse my upgrade to re-issue a new number with no support from Vodacom itself, and still no resolution…..
