Terrible !! Don't use them! they charged over 2000.00 to do a terribly messy job. when I queried the price the guy got irate and rude with me and yelling at me that he's sick of people not wanting to pay. I was simply querying the exorbitant price. I think they're a real *******. I will certainly NEVER call them again! they also don't seem to have any email address to be advised of reviews.
I have been a member for more than 27 years. The resorts get more shabby by the year. To book is a nightmare - Any resort that looks like it may be remotely aCceptable is fully booked for usually the year ahead ! The levies are astronomical! More expensive than what you would spend going on a better holiday to a preferable destination! Then you want to sell your points which besides being a long drawn out process that you can only do if your enormous payments are up to date , they then offer you less than half of what they cost more than 25 years ago!!!! And then you would have to wait until they sold which then takes you into the next year’s invoiced levies which then takes you back to not being up to date with the payment! So as a patient and fair person you decide to surrender your points to the holiday club, oooohhhh dear - another nightmare ! You have to have your gigantic ridiculously expensive levies up to date - and then they don’t answer or return calls but the tell you on a message that should you not be able to hold on, send an email and they will get back to you! Big frigging joke!!!!!! They then send you emails saying that your issue has been resolved!!!!! So again you try to call - this time you get response in a bad line from a very rude agent who tells you that she will email you the cancellation fee. No wonder - she doesn’t dare tell you the enormous amount on the phone!!!! You have passed the date at the end of the term before the new invoice - BecIse they don’t respond and then they want to charge you a cancellation fee that is two thirds of the levies for the entire upcoming year!!!!!! This is a total rip off . They have the gall to ask if you would like to give your points to a family member or friend !!?!?!? Why on earth would anyone want to load this bunch of rip offs onto anyone else!!!!! There has got to be a way to get rid of them - I want the holiday club - the damn nightmare club - out of my life forever ! And be warned - never ever ever ever sign up for a points holiday club.
I had an issue with lack of security for my funds, when I posted a hello Peter review out of absolute desperation -and still no update from Capitec, and not a glimmer of a solution! pfhah! - and they think they'll be recommended????? NOT! My recommendation - find another bank! I am appalled at Captitec's lack of integrity.
Absolutely and totally unwilling to help! AGAIN!!! I have just called capitec helpline because I just received notification of a debit order for 487.00 for multi voice deducted from my account by multichoice! I don’t have a Multichoice account! The capitec ‘supposed to helpline’ tell me all I can do is go into the branch to try and get assistance. About two months ago 13450.00 was taken out of my 80 year old mom’s account into another capitec account and capitec were completely non sympathetic and not even remotely helpful - seems this issue is already going the same way! Capitec are so helpful and quick to get your business but not at all helpful or willing to take responsibility for your money once they have it in their hands!!!!
