Netcare's math aint mathing. My husband was admitted to Netcare Alberton for 8 days. The medical aid paid for 6 days. The math I was taught leaves me with2 days unpaid. Numerous calls and emails, and their math works out to 8-6=4. I was even told by a call centre agent that the call it taking too long and he has to go now. I am just now getting anywhere to explain this to anyone in the group, and with refusal to assist me with the case manager to follow up directly at the facility. I have even now been blacklisted by them.
absolutely impossible to speak to a human being to follow up on anything. They keep telling you on a recording to login or use the self service tool on whatsapp which contains the incorrect information. Even with my husband's passing I couldn't get help from a consultant on the process of the estate and had to make use of a lawyer.
So, again Standard Bank disappoints me... nothing new. Worst of all is the call centre agent, Linda, that I spoke to . Simply not even trying to assist me. Bye bye Standard Bank. It was enough....
<p>Luckily Standard Bank was not scammed out of R300m very recently because of their secure systems. Indeed, their clients are the criminals. Fraudulant transactions claim rejected by Standard Bank, because it was a debit card - whilst my husband is standing in front of their ATM on camera we managed to use that one card to draw money at a different ATM AND swipe the card at a shop that does not exist?! Yet Standard Bank is not willing to provide me with a letter stating the reasons of rejecting the claim. And off course - we are not allowed to view any security footage. Today is also National Managers Meeting day, as no managers are available in any call centres or branches; all attending meetings.... Saddest part, opening the account was not even easy, it took 2 weeks and 2 visists to 2 branches... Can't believe I am actually PAYING to get ripped off. Luckily Standard Bank is not the only bank in SA; so I guess I will be taking my personal and business banking else where today. And I suppose I will also receive the stock standard Hello Peter response to this post.
