I am doing a conference and approached Go Rentals to hire a laptop. I got quoted R 995, (after three days of back and fourth, demanding every increasing private information) but when the invoice arrived they demanded R 3500 deposit, which would take 10 days to refund, after the weeks rental period, and the equipment has been returned! Very unprofessional, and time consuming when they could have stated that from the beginning. I have hired from go rentals in the past, with no issues, but will not be calling on them again, I will take my business elsewhere.
I have been a client of SA Domain for years, and have multiple clients websites hosted on their service. As a January 2020 there has been a marked decline in their level of service. Websites have been crashing and disappearing, and when you try to get old of them there is no communication. Emails, calls, instant messages, service tickets all go unanswered, and data that was lost in their last server crash was never restored from "backups", leaving me to wonder if they even backup their servers. Was a happy client for the longest time, but getting to the point now where I will have to migrate all my websites to a different host.
Please do not use this company. I ordered a thermometer on 05 November 2018, paid for it the same time via their webpage. When it had not arrived by 31 January I cancelled my order. 14 days later, no sign of a refund. I have made in excess of 20 phone calls to try and get this resolved. The call center is manned by only one person at a time. They refuse to put you through to their accounts department. They insist that you communicate by email, but emails never get answered. They will not let you speak to a manager, and refuse to hand over the owners details.
