We received an emergency service at Milpark hospital 2023/09/27 and I have the statement from my medical aid indicating that the charged services from this group were paid in full 2023/10/12. Now 2025/05/27 "Please take note of the following, your scheme recently decided to reverse a portion of all their members' claims for the last couple of years as they decided that the visits to the emergency department were non emergencies and that their members will be responsible for the amounts reversed. The visit was for 27/09/2023 and an amount of R236.60 is due. Please take it up with your medical scheme." This is a *****ulent claim and the explanation as well to make nearly 2 years later with no communication on any earlier date although stating in their first mail that they contacted me on several occasions (All my contact details are on the statement they sent me) and I did not pay, they then sent me a statement of theirs showing a small amount being refunded 2025/05/09 refusing to forward me the claim made by my medical aid with a reason code. I have informed their attorney that I will take legal action, and their client will be responsible for the costs I incur when listing me on Monday. I have received *****ulent claims before but not this stupid, I have left the email addresses from google and 2 as received from these people thinking no medical practice can be this dumb and they are *****sters that somehow got this info to **** me, a very common thing in SA where people working at these places hand out your details for extra money. Never pay these types of people before they proof what they say with a reason code from your medical aid, a statement from your aid must show this as well and or a mail from your medical aid that show proof send to them and forwarded to you and which you can then follow up on. But come on 20 months later while having all my contact details saying my medical aid decided only now to request money back, you should have stayed in school dude and listened when the teacher said crime does not pay.
I bought a new car with the unit pre-installed and was asked by the dealer if I would like to activate it and sign a contract with tracker (bought the car for my wife) which I agreed to 11/03/2022 and it was activated 12/03/2022. I only took ownership of said vehicle on 15/03/2022 and received all the relevant paperwork with the vehicle the same day and after reading that I am responsible to find out how the service work and that there are costs involved for making mistakes (activating alarm) I thought why would this be, because I was not shown or explained anything regarding this device. I went to tracker fitment center in Lichtenburg and asked to have the service canceled 17/03/2022 which according to their contract you have 5 days to cancel at no cost and the assistant at the shop said she will call them and I have to speak to them to cancel said contract (36 Month contract) The person told me I had to pay R1600-00 for cancelation and 3hundred and something to cancel so I requested he send me an email with the invoice attached so I can get legal advice regarding this. The following day 18/03/2022 (take note, I only took ownership of said vehicle 15/03/2022) I still have not received anything from him and I found a mail send from them when I joined and replied on that requesting cancelation. I have now paid them R1927-39 to cancel the service and contract. The mistakes I made was signing a contract without seeing it and phoning and not taking down the info of said person but as you can see I was well within my 5 day limit but they still charged me a cancelation fee. Now listen to this, with whatts-app and google mail and a phone capable of these apps you can keep track of your loved ones on the road (with some thinking during a hijacking, that tracking can stay active if people are taken with the car) and if the car only is stolen, do you really want it back after some criminal messed with it, I mean the difference you pay on insurance with or without it is nothing, I will take the new car thank you and that's why I did not take it when I bought my car 2019. The "service" they offer is nothing you cant do without and again that's if they actually render any. Also kept receiving sms updates of they can't get a hold of me or they will not be contacting me and that I have to contact them on 0860605040 after they spoke with me and I requested an email regarding the call and what was expected from me. I did receive a mail from Tracker saying the service is now canceled 25/03/2022 (after the sales lady at Renault Westvaal Lichtenburg called me to confirm cancelation, still wonder why and what part they were playing in this because other than assisting with the activation of service they did not even showed/talked about the device????) AT NO COST to me.......hahahhaaaa, what does that actually mean my account has not been debited with the money I paid or are you saying you wanted to scam some more of me? When doing business with any company make sure you have emails or documents to back your claims and know they know this and will not assist you with your evidence gathering, they will rather tell you "this call is recorded for security ......." which is not evidence for your self it could help in court maybe.
