We all know Woolworths is expensive, but I don't mind paying for quality. But the packaging is just getting smaller and the prices keep going up. Other than that, I buy two of the fresh mixed fruit packages every week. There used to be a nice mixture of kiwi, strawberries, black berries, pineapple, paw-paw and so forth. Now, if there's a berry or one kiwi in there your damn lucky as they fill it with all the cheap fruit! Yet the price remains the same? I emailed Woolworths with photos on the 23rd of October and have sent three emails subsequent to that, yet no response. Honestly expected more from Woolworths...

First I took a pair of black shoes for them to repair for me. I went there several times to collect my shoes but it took months just to put some glue where the leather started coning out. Eventually, my shoes were at the store only to find that the person who fixed the shoes messed glue all over my shoe and it looked terrible! So eventually afte three months i got my shoes.

Then i take a pair of white shoes to replace the tips and put soles. Took another month, when i went to collect my shoes they had put black tips and black soles on my white shoes. Then Marie, the rudest person in te world calls me and tells me they'll change the tips but they can't change the soles. Which i agree too. I go to collect my shoes today after i took them to the shop on 11 July 16 (so more than two months later) and guess what, glue on my wite shoes too. So i call Marie and tell her that i'm either taking my shoes and not paying or she must come and deliver the shoes at my house after fixing because i dont have time to come back. She shouts at me saying i must take my shoes and never come back. She spoke to the useless lady at the store and when i wanted to talk to her again she put the phone down in my ear. I called her back and told her i'll put this on Hello Peter and she told me to go right ahead as "my type" are one in a million. I told her they messed my shoes up twice and she blatantly said she doesn't care and put the phone down. So needless to say, i will never take my shoes there and i'm hoping not a lot of people do either as they damage your shoes and then tell you to never come back. Now thats customer service!

I buy my fruit only at Woolworths. I refuse to buy it anywhere else as their fruit is normally sweet, fresh and lasts long. But just over a month ago I bought peaches. As I got home I wanted to eat one but it was horrible! Every single one was dry and terrible, I had to through them all away. Then, about two weeks ago I buy a box of easy peel satsumas and as I open it, there are a hand full of rotten ones. I sent a complaint, got a phone call a day later but nothing after that. Last week I go buy watermelon, again, as I open it it's so overripe we can't eat it. I took photos of the satsumas as well as the watermelon as well as the receipts, but no one comes back to me. I will rather go to Fruit & Veg from now because this is ridicules! what's the point of paying more and not being able to even eat the fruit!
So MTN does it again, I asked for my number to be migrated. My billing date is until the 12th of each month. I migrated my number on the 12th and specially asked if I would be receiving anymore accounts after I migrated and they said NO. But low and behold, they go and deduct R2,100 from my account. R595 Is for one of my other numbers, but the rest is for the number that is no longer with MTN (Thank God). Try to call them, everyone transfers me to someone else and eventually the line just dies. So once again a matter that they will just not resolve!
I received my statement sometime during October. I called because my account was way to high! from the normal R900 to R2500! I spoke to Thembesile Makeng and she informed me that I did not have any data loaded on my account and that was the reason for my account being so high. I told her that I called MTN late September (I gave her the exact date) to load a 1gig data bundle. She said that she can see I made the call but not that I loaded data. I asked to get the voice recording of that call and she said her team leader, Rashane Govender, would phone me back that same day, needless to say, up to today, I have not received any calls from anyone at MTN. And guess what, MTN went and deducted that full amount that I said I was not going to pay as I did load a gig data!!! My reference number is 1236429603.

To add insult to injury, after many years of trying to sort other account issues out that I had with MTN and finally putting a complaint on Hello Peter, I received a message (response to Hello Peter report) saying that I have a credit of R1,890.09 that was due to me, where is that credit????? Why did the full amount still go off my account??

Absolutely crazy! I HATE MTN!!
MTN has messed up my account on numerous occasions. In fact, they still owe me money from 4 years ago. I went on and on about it sending emails, calling them it just never worked! Then, later, I upgraded one of my contracts and was charged double for the transfer, I queried that numerous times as well, this was abut three years ago, but alas, no credit form MTN yet. THEN, I upgraded my contract, the guy told me I was going to get 500mb of data free every month, it's been almost a year and I have not received even one mb for free! I queried this months ago, but again, another matter left unresolved. I received my account this month and my account went from its normal amount of R550 to R1 908!!! They told me that I was charged for data as I didn't have any data left, but I checked my itemised billing and know for a fact I called to load data on the 22nd of Sep but it was never loaded! I give up on MTN!!!! I have three contracts with them and can simply not wait to end all three of them!!!
I have had numerous issues with MTN, from them owing me a credit since December 2013 (one of the reference numbers: REQ:3517777 Request Detail) talking to Trevor Nkuna, Cheldon Whatson and Arthur Khambule to MTN owing me Data as the package I was offered came with 500 meg free data per month and now for the past three months trying to transfer my data simcard to a prepaid sim. I have sent numerous emails to the complaints department with NOT ONE response (ref nrs: 9527395
