I previously complained about a company called 4 Seasons Solar, who provided ineffective and very sub-standard service. The Product importer picked up on the story and contacted me.

Afrilanga Solar (The Chromagen Importers/Agents), sent E Tech solar solutions round to do the work. What a fantastic and competent service. Firstly they offered to come around on Easter Monday to solve the service issue, but it wasn't critical. At an arranged time, they came round, did an inspection, spotted a problem in the roof with a roof beam, fixed it all and did the service. It is so nice to deal with competent and committed individuals. Thank you to Etienne from E-Tech for being so committed and efficient. Exceptional service. I can recommend them to anyone.
Two years ago, this company supplied us with a 300L solar Geyser. When it was installed, they indicated that the geyser should be services every two years. A few weeks ago, I was called and advised that they needed to service the geyser. I was away from Johannesburg at the time and advised them to contact me again when I had returned. They did so and made an arrangement to come and do the service. They failed to pitch, and I waited around for a whole day. They also failed to contact me, so I contacted them. The person on the other end of the phone seemed surprised that they had not done this and promised to get back to me, but failed to do so. I had not heard anything fro two weeks, and again I get called, (No apology for not getting back to me I might add), and we make another arrangement to service they geyser. Yet again the technicians fail to arrive at the appointed time. The product they sell is great, but their level of service and commitment to keeping their promises is very poor. I think it's a case of, once they have sold you the product, they are not interested.
I have a number of issues with this so-called service provider, but my latest one regards payment. They have a debit order in place and debit my credit card every month. On the 1st. I get a call saying there weren't enough funds in the account, which is nigh on impossible since it is a credit card with a very considerable limit. I check my numbers against their, and they are correct. What this tells me is that their system has failed to work. This is not the first time. I changed my credit card details in September and gave them the new details over the phone and was told it was okay. And according to the data read back to me it was correct, so how is it that they now claim that I didn't have enough funds. And when I try and call, I get a customer service centre and the unbiquitous computer call selection with Desmond Dube's voice. I want to speak with a senior executive about the crummy service, but there seems to be no way to actually speak with a person! Useless service.
I have used their services on occasion, but when I email them they take an inordinate amount of time to respond. And when they do respond eventually, it is by telephone with no email backup to indicate what is happening. Secondly, I have a debit order payable by my credit card, but they claim that my card came back with insufficient funds notice. Well, credit cards don't come back with insufficient funds notice.

And according to my credit card company, there are no issues with my account (Which I have had for decades).

This company seem to be incapable, but because they are a \big"company"
