5 months ago I moved and cancelled my Home Connect service and it was such a smooth online process!! I kept all documentation and receipts of mails that it was in fact cancelled as I have been in countless situations where money has gone off my account long after a service has been cancelled. But not Home - Connect, they are the best in customer service! Thank you :)
<div>I placed an order a month ago and have received zero feedback to date. I tried calling the number on the website and it does not exist. Also, if you really like the rings they are available on Temu at a fraction of the cost.</div>
On the 21st of March I received an sms that R759,62 went off my credit card. I did not receive and OTP to approved this transaction. I called ABSA’s fraud department, spoke to Mbali Mazibuko who gave me a ref number. A few days later the money was back in my account and all was well... On the 17th of April the amount went off my account again with no sms notification. I went to the Cape Gate branch and they told me it is still under investigation. So I waited... I received a call from an arrogant and rude Mbali Mazibuko who claimed that the fraudulent vendor, Wish.com claims I collected the item during our level 5 lockdown (how is this even possible) but they will not give proof of collection (light bulb moment guys) and I am liable for the R759,62. Now clearly Wish.com was not being honest here, it’s not rocket science, however ABSA could not explain why I did not receive an OTP to approve or reject the transaction. This is not my first experience with ABSA’s fraud department and again the customer is always the one who has to suffer. Please do not bother to bank with ABSA. In difficult times such as these you would hope the bank you’ve been with for years would be more supportive of retaining your money or at least providing legitimate answers. ABSA, you have lost a loyal customer.
I am currently in the queue at ABSA Cape Gate, it’s been 2 hours. I understand that the banks are busy during lockdown and that pensioners take precedence but the staff here are constantly pushing people in before the queue and when confronted the excuse are ridiculous. 12 people have jumped the queue to customer services, yes I counted. We are all waiting our turn patiently and this level of customer service is making me rethink my bank of choice. My advice is do not bother waiting in a queue, walk straight into the bank and if asked any questions then just say you were there yesterday
R85.00 worth of tips were taken off my wristband @ Ultra 2020 CPT One of the amounts were R55.00 for 2 x shots of tequila valued at R56.00 None of these tips were authorized and this "cashless" system is a scam!!
