I am frustrated and disappointed with the way howler has handled my situation. What should have been a simple ticket purchase has turned into a stressful and costly experience due to what I can only describe as highly questionable and ********* behaviour. I attempted to purchase tickets through their website, and during the process, I received an error message indicating that the transaction had failed. Naturally, I assumed the payment did not go through. To avoid losing the tickets, I immediately made another payment (within minutes) using an alternative method and successfully secured the tickets. However, I later discovered that the first transaction had actually gone through as well, meaning I was charged twice for the same purchase within minutes of each other. I have since contacted the company multiple times, clearly explaining the situation and providing proof of both transactions. Despite this, they have completely refused to acknowledge the duplicate charge and have made no effort to resolve the issue or refund me. This is unacceptable. Any legitimate business should be able to see that two identical transactions occurred within minutes and treat it as a duplicate payment error. Their refusal to act raises serious concerns about their integrity and customer service standards. At this point, it feels like they are deliberately avoiding responsibility and holding onto money that does not belong to them.

I have been trying since 5 January 2026 (today is 31 January 2026) to register my daughter for the Sanlam peace run. They insist that we can only communicate via mail - we have now had 26 responses, and they keep asking the same questions. It leaves one helpless and disappointed. I would recommend Sanlam reconsider this service organisation.

I attended GoldFish Submerged Concert. The event organisers evacuated everyone from the venue before the concert started as the tent had not been properly secured and was about to collapse. I want a refund.

I bought tickets for the F1 show and then they reduced them to half price soon after . I reached out and was told to buy 2 half price tickets and they would refund me the full priced ones . I also topped up to pay for refreshments. They say they refunded me on 25 November . 14 days later , no refund . They just send me some transmission details they sent to their finance department . How does it take this long to make a refund ? At the event I tried loading my deposit for refunds . Zero . After the event it disappeared from my account . They say they have refunded this too . What are they doing with our money ? I’ve asked for proof of payment and the bank they paid from they have not been forthcoming .

I bought tickets for an event at Ground The Venue. The transaction went off twice and I have proof from my bank of this, yet they (Deneo M specifically) refuse to refund me. Please be super careful when buying on Howler.
