I had a fibre and phone account with Metro Fibre up until 2022, when I moved locations. After I moved I cancelled the account by calling into the call centre and confirmed this via email on 9 February 2023. Suddenly I began receiving invoices and statements and then I got a notice stating I had been handed over to a Collections Agency. 2 YEARS AFTER MY ACCOUNT HAD BEEN CANCELLED BY ME. I received a termination notice in March 2023 that the account was closed, they continued to bill me and now are claiming R380,95 in arrears.
