Shocking! One wouldn't think businesses are struggling, or that competition is tough. No - DSTV - doesn't worry about declining viewers - maybe closing would be better than offering no service at all. You call, and they tell you their whatsapp works wonders - all one gets "oops something went wrong". The MyDSTV app doesn't work either in terms of holiday viewing and phoning the call centre - they are all nice people, but they cant offer a service because nothing works, sorry, my system is slow, sorry, let me reboot, sorry, it wont allow me - will log with with my business centre. And thats it - end. Call again - same problem. Call again - same problem. At what point does DSTV want to actually offer customer service? Today their system wont allow the agents to add packages... so why isn't that shared? We have a tech issue - busy attending to it - but no - you allow everyone to hold. Almost 120min of "holding", not 1 person called back, not 1 person sorted the issue. So now what - go to netflix? Pathetic service.
Dstv is just unbelievable. They undergo an upgrade and just nothing works. One calls them because the selfservice and whatsapp options dont work, and they cant help you either. Pathetic. And absolutely no attempt to assist. Just a simply my PC is slow, I cant activate it sorry for that. What does that mean? We take your money but we dont provide the service?
Die Burger is one of the best newspapers, but their delivery service is beyond shocking. And when you call to complain, they "make a note". What exactly does that mean? And now its the car breakdown story, then its a flat tyre - I don't for a moment say these things don't happen, but if you contractually advise your client that delivery is by 06h00, and every day its delivered at 07h30, then surely there is a problem, that is beyond just a car problem. How many times must I call Media24 to advise that the newspaper is delivered late before there is any action taken? And if I cancel my subscription, its also ok - as what is one less subscriber to the thousands that do subscribe? Really beyond pathetic delivery service.
