Damaged food sold as promo items
Was at your Windermere branch today. Bought ice cream on promo 2 for R159. Gio Ginelli. When I got home and wanted to get some, I saw the reason why it's on special. You can see that the ice cream had melted and then got frozen again. All the sugar is at the bottom. The pic of the ice cream will also show you. Not the first time this checkers sold some ***** food. Even half the expiry date is wiped off. I want this to reach everyone so all can be aware of checkers promo

Useless Courier Guy
To bad you can't give lower then 1 star. If you want to lose money use this useless courier company. The stuffed up my delivery by putting the wrong waybill on the wrong parcels. Now these numnuts can't find my parcel. All that money down the drain. Rather use post net or even normal postal service

False advertising
Your checkers in Windermere has double standards. Was there today 28 Sept 2025 I saw a promo on S****ful ice cream. Promo said assorted s****ful ice cream for R55. Apon asking I was told that the one section. Was not on promo. Even though special says assorted. Merchandiser came and took the paper out stating what I said. After a while when I returned, they printed a new one, saying excl tin roof. It's not my fault if they made a mistake. What customer see is what customer pays. Even health and safety not followed. Staff and managers in deli area not wearing hair nets etc. I'm sure there is a few people that will agree, but doesn't want to waste time coming on here.

Be careful of this company. When your policy expires with them they keep on deducting money, even after a mail was send from them stating policy expires. Then when you phone them, it's like talking to Eskom, no lights is on.

After care service bad
trying to get hold of sanlam for more then a week. from phoning and speaking to a robot to emailing to laying complaints, and no feedback yet.

Listen to your customers
After telling them many times don't deduct before arranged date, as I get paid last day of the month these people don't listen. Now I get messages to say that everything is in jeopardy and so forth. I tried to cancel but the lady said I can't. Are they going to pay the penalties for debit orders returned. Here is the message after I told them deduct on the date as agreed on Your Debt review payment of R4065.90 was unsuccessful, and Hyphen PDA is unable to distribute to your credit providers. Please contact FDC Group (Pty) Ltd "Your PDA Payment has not been received and your debt review is in jeopardy. Please contact your debt counsellor to make arrangements"

Checkers Windermere
Was at Checkers Windermere today. Bought fish and chips and some other items. Asked the delivery lady if it is fresh she rep**** yes. When I got home I tried the food. To my disappointment the food wasn't fresh. The fish was like old shoe soles. Gave it to the dog, even she struggled to chew. Not the first time food is not fresh. As far as I know after every few hours food needs to be replaced.

Unhealty
Was at Checkers Pavilion yesterday. Just found it shocking that health and safety not followed. Normally in your food department hair nets is supposed to be worn. But at the butchery department, lots of sixty sixty pickers went inside with no hair nets and not correct uniform. When I showed them that hair nets are supposed to be worn I was ignored. Not very good
