ZERO! STARS!!! We’ve received the worst ever imaginable service from Webuycars Midstream, The agent Kabelo who was selected by the call centre to be the sales representative firstly doesn’t have a clue about customer service, only after he was addressed he started giving service which was still half hearted, we required about a vehicle that was sale in progress after which the buyer could not get finance for, and in the meantime Kabelo still didn’t keep us upto date on the state of the previous sales progress which was retracted after a couple of days of buyer backing out after receiving the “offer to purchase” so the next we could not reserve the vehicle although we had funds available of a previous attempt to buy at an auction, So keep in mind the profile had a R5000 positive credit, which you will find that once paid to WBC you will not be able to refund your own funds, more in this later. even though you have it showing on your online profile, Next we got Kabelo to reserve the vehicle while we got an email stating the next weak link in the WBC’s ****nal the as useless Joh Marie Grobler, was appointed to us as we app**** for credit seeing WBC has a number of financial institutions to whi they can apply on your behalf of the buyer, Now another snake in their hidden closet and ****nal to squeeze more money (in which they get commissions, don’t forget) you as the buyer to pay unnecessary expenses to force you the buyer to buy a warranty on the vehicle which you most likely won’t need, Plus EVERYONE knows that it’s a myth because when it comes to claiming the warranty issuer has an endless supply of excuses why they either don’t settle a claim or doesn’t honour the full amount needed to repair what ever is broken, After we’ve seen there’s unnecessary charges you are financing over 72 months at a set interest rate, We’ve decided to rather op to finance the vehicle through Capitec who unlike Joh Marie secretly force the buyer to finance a warranty, So after I myself requested from Kabelo to switch the buy over from financed to a cash buy, the documents needed by Capitec, I think he knew that now his commission will be affected he decided ti let us loose the buy as he can always get another buyer who they (WBC) can pull wool over the next buyer to attempt to get a larger commission, Or so he hoped, Meanwhile Joh Marie cancelled the purchase and removed the vehicle from sale in progress to buy/reserve now in the intenet , so the next buyer saw the vehicle and reserved it as Kabelo never reserved the vehicle again, remember now Joh Marie removed it from sale in progress and *****ed us over ! Never once didn’t we qualify for finance! Although we have by this time already gotten the finance from Capitec, and we requested Kabelo to send through the cash buy documents meanwhile he is playing for time as he hoped for the 48 hours to Laps which we reserved the vehicle, so he sent the Dekra report for us to sign whilst the car is sold to another party, Remember now we’re still in the 48hrs of reserving the vehicle, Or as WBC so halfheartedly claims “first come first served” ! So in this process of playing for time we’re now loosing interest on the said R5000 on our profile, not to mention the R500 in interest we’ve lost in interest which we were willing to loose as we thought we’re using the fixed funds to pay a deposit to Our financial institution, So we’ve incurred the loss of interest both ways, to get the fixed funds available and then the R5000 , in their account for going 4 weeks now(we’re unable to refund the R5000) and counting, We’re contacting Joh Marie weekly to try and refund the funds in hold from WBC account. But she just plainly ignores the fact trying to get as much interest from our funds they keep hostage, The meantime we’ve complained to Kabelo about the no communication between members on one site, so he said that this issue has been handed over to management and the car is still on the premises, Not even once did anyone from management Midstream try and just get our side of the issue and try understanding what happened, So the way I as a business owner would have counselled and gave all 3 a final written warning, Kabelo, Joh Marie and the spineless manager who never intervened once, Until today 7 October 2023 the fees has been kept ransom in WBC’s account to maximise the interest earned since 17 September 2023. So I would think 3 or even 4 times before doing any business with WBC as a company
<p>I bought a tracking device (Guard) from them about 30 months ago, it gave me more trouble than joy since day ONE<br />I should add here that the vehicle I planed on tracking more frequent Was a 1975 VW Transporter Bus, which is irreplaceable vehicle in its original condition and we being the second owner~and it would be replaced with a R350 000 vehicle if stolen~ although it was my initial idea to track various vehicles / devices with this tracking device, as this (Guard) Tracker <br />The day the device was delivered too me it started with its problems, at first it could not trace me live online, <br />This device was loaded with a sim card registered to mzansi tracker, which i was supposed to manage myself,<br />Although it had airtime data as well as SMS'es it frequently bombed out and refused to Plot my current position,<br />I was told when my money was taken in good faith that this device has a battery life of 2 weeks.... which was also a lie, as I straggled to get more than 5 days between charges !<br />I went back to PETER(which is a story I will elaborate on soon) which I was told that he is the technical fundi on these devices , and he told me "maybe this device is faulty" so he offered to swop out this device , so II had to drive to their offices to get the device swopped out, which is the only thing that ever happened as promised,<br />Peter refuses to answer any of my numerous calls and when I call from a different cell number he obviously takes the call just to give me empty promises time after time. Promising to deliver and never does. He answers some of the WhatsApp's sent and further more ignores me totally <br />After I received my second (new) device same problems But then the battery lasted only 5-8 hours which was a problem as this device had to be connected to a vehicles battery, which on its own, drains the vehicles battery also draining the vehicles battery when it was stationary for the school holidays, this device, lets call it second device for obvious reasons. Came with a harness that could be used inside a vehicle to recharge,<br />NOW obviously I was not happy with the performance of this device and Peter promised to have it swopped out, which was like the first empty promise just another lie after lie<br />until finally he stopped dodging me and sent another person with the third device but they now let me keep the second device and the third,<br />NEEDLESS to say same issues with device number 3 but lowandbehold the 3rd came with a 2nd harness which can be used to sent panic signals out to whoever was registered on the device as managers, BUT These signals can not be cancelled EVER and the 3rd kept sending out SMS's until the sms's are depleted then it sends sms's until all the prepaid airtime has been depleted which is a sms every 2 minutes for a week</p> <p>Now obviously I got in jy car and drove to mzansi tracker's offices UNANOUNCED to hand deliver BOTH devices and explaining to PETER what issues I receive from them, now after 2 weeks Peter refuses to answer any of my numerous calls and WhatsApp messages, I left him a voice message asking him if he is evading my calls, THEN only he gave a lady from his offices instructions to phone me and offer me a payable contract with their company <br />So I explained to the sales lady this is NOT AN OPTION as I seek another solution for this matter that is dragging on for over 2 years, explaining to her that I am currently unemployed and cant afford to pay an monthly premium, she offered to call me back with a solution which OBVIOUSLY is like their empty lies and promises and never happened<br />So yet again I tried phoning PETER this week and YET AGAIN he refuses to take my call!</p>
I was in an accident with my vehicle in november 2014<br> I was referred to Dent doctor in zambezi pta, where i was informed that my car will have to stay there during shutdown for the pagan fest in december, after discussion i was told by dent doctor that they will contact me first thing January2015 once they re opened,<br> Today is 22 June 2015, and i still drive the vehicle around like that, and i suspect that my propshaft is misalighned with the impact which causes accessive wear<br> My preferred outcome will be to get hollard to register my own preferred panel beater on Hollards list of suppliers so i can use people i have used and trusted for the past 15 Years
