WORST EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE EVER! I will NEVER recommend anyone to make use of Storage King. The "containers" you order turns out to be 2mx1.5m wooden crates. You WILL end up with no choice but to use more crates - paying 2 to 3 times more than budgeted for. "Platforms" can only hold 1 item - rest will be stuffed into crates - just to make you pay more They have no regard for your property - no protection. Afterward they will inform that you had to "buy" protection sheets from them Your damages will be extreme - mine more than R15 000 and unrepairable Afterward insurance - that you paid for - is only for "fire and theft" and they don't care about your damages Late fees are charged every 15 days - you end up paying more than double. No need to communicate - they stick to pay, or your goods will go on auction. No need to contact the owners - Mr Rodriques. He also stick to T&C's All boils down to "it is the customer's own fault" An answer for everything. It was so bad had my goods picked-up and stored by another company. The don't care attitude is just astonishing. Disgusting Wish I could post photo's of how crates are packed and horrific damages! Oh yes - shop around - they are definitely more expensive than other companies Just don't go there
We have been Discovery members for 20 yrs (since 2005). After the passing of my husband, the debit order was not legal and I paid via eft. Given - I INITIALLY used incorrect ref no. Since Nov 2024 I have been trying to sort the account and payment allocation. Meanwhile, I made payments to the amount of almost R88 000 (yes, thousand)! Needless to say, even after these payments, our membership was suspended!!! While DISCOVERY is trying to sort out the own administration, and even though payments were made up to April, we have had NO MEDICAL COVER. They take the payments, but casn't seem to sort the allocations! Leaving us without cover and having to pay all medicals bills cash!! After reconciliation - which is not fully finalized as yet - they demand we make an additional back payment of approx R60 000 before they will cover us as from August 2025. Or, gave us the option to re-apply!!! With a waiting period of up to 12months for myself!! NO WONDER YOUR RATINGS IS SO BAD! I need a viable solution!!
Standard Bank has got THE WORST customer service ever. I have a business account and from day one I was met with bad service and attitude with little assistance. I opened a ***** case more than a year ago - 17 Nov 2023! Since then I have been battling to get it settled. Not even my personal banker or his superior assisted. I battled and finally got assistance. The ***** amount would be paid back within 2-3 days. Today it is 10 days later... no payment yet and no answer to my mails.... Centurion branch. You can sit there for hours... send numerous emails, or even make calls. Nothing gets done. And now I demand interest on the money that has been owed to me for 1 year and 2 months
