Excellent service by Jason Gounden. If you looking for tiles and all accessories do not look any further than Malls. Go see Jason, I did and I got an excellent price on all items. I also had no issues when I needed to return some items, so fast and easy. Best tile place ever...best range anywhere. Do not waste your time driving around...just go to Malls. Thank you guys
My fiance and I made purchases from Marko Springfield Park. We bought major appliances amounting to around R20 000. We were however unable to receive deliveries on the delivery date and attempted to reschedule these deliveries. We tried the entire week leading up to 30 March 2025 to no avail. The useless salesperson Shireen Gianchand acts like she is doing me a favour and tells me to get someone to do me a favour. The equally *********** so called manager, Sanele didn't care at all. I told that I will escalate this to the ceo and he couldn't care less.Such abuse and disregard cannot be tolerated. It is no wonder that this chain is failing so miserably. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT MAKRO
My rating is actually zero stars. I logged a return and was promised a pick up will happen on 1/04 before 5pm. I waited the whole day and nobody turned up. I emailed takealot only to be given what I am confident is a copy and paste apology. I was told the item will be picked up today(4/04) before 5pm. Nothing happened. Another day wasted. Pathetic and insulting service. If I do not qualify for basic customer service and I am excluded from being treated with dignity, let me know.
Rene Otto, CEO, always available to assist when issues experienced. I am a client now for 11 years and always treated fairly. Thanks to Rilwele as well.
I would like to express my sentiments of gratitide to a stand up guy, Mr Rene Otto (CEO OF MIWAY). I had experienced a technicality issue relating to a referral payment. All I had to do was contact Rene and within minutes he replied (after business hours mind you). He assured me that the matter will be resolved and true to his word the matter was resolved. People often criticize companies and more so the CEO's....but I find it incumbent that such assistance from an individual so high up the corporate ladder, be praised for his efforts. I have been a client of Miway for 9 years and will continue to support people like Rene. Thank you sir.

I had taken my toyota vehicle to durban south toyota on the 18/03/17 for an annual service. As per procedure, the vehicle was pre-inspected and all faults and flaws were recorded. I recieved my vehicle about 2 hours later and after having some issues with the debit card machine, I paid in full and was given the keys to my car. No post inspection was done by the consultant. After arriving home I noticed that my rims were chipped in various places and in various severity. I duly emailed the dealership and also emailed toyota South Africa and Toyota Japan. This measure was taken due to previous incidents experinced with Durban South Toyota and the lack of service received. The service manager then calls me on the instruction of Toyota Japan I am sure. The lacklasture tone toward my complaint was highly evident. He arranged to pay me a visit and did so the next day and took around 5 minutes taking pictures of the damaged rims. I then had a call from him around 18;45 saying that the dealer principal was attending to an important delegation was not unable to review his report. Three days past and still no reply, and I then get a reply form the case operater from Toyota South Africa saying they are still awaiting a response from the dealer principal. I replied stating my dissatisfaction and violation of my consumer protected rights. This morning (3/04/17)I get a call from the service technician (not the service manager) who wanted to find out what was happening. I told him that I needed to speak to the service manager or dealer principal and he says that neither of them will respond as this issue was escalated to a higher authourity. I then respectfully asked him to ask said individuals about any quieries he had. I then received an email, which I deemed very abrupt and threatening in it's tone, from Toyota South Africa saying that after an intensive investigation (based on pictures no less) it was found that my rims were not refurbished correctly and nothing in their workshop could of inflicted any damage, and that they take no liability and therefore close this matter. My issue is this:

* this is not the first occassion where incompetent workmanship from Durban South Toyota has caused damage to my vehicle and has taken my valuable time and effort in sorting it out. All said incidents are reorded on their system as well as Toyota South Africa and Japan

* the treatment I received is unconstitutional to say the least. I am entitled to basic rights relating to respect and non judgement but I am treated as an insignificant little man.

* my belief is that if I was from a different sector/class I would be treated as a customer not a criminal

I can only base my queries on experinces and the record at this dealership and the treatment I have received speak volumes in validating my claims. I am now left with chipped rims after spending in excess of R4000 at this dealership and their investigation to find faults in me rather than look directly at the evidence is symbolic of the utter collapse of reasonable customer service (for certain individuals) in this country.
