I purchased an Ecovacs Deebot T30 Pro Omni from Yuppiechef on 8 July 2025. By November 2025 (around 4 months later), the unit started failing to locate its docking station, running the battery flat in attempts to return, making it impossible to use unattended. The repair was logged on 13 January 2026, the machine collected on 19 January, and returned on 16 February – almost 5 weeks of lost use. According to the technician’s report, the cause was dust accumulation on internal components, including critical sensors and electronic parts, which caused the docking sensors to fail. This is extremely concerning for a vacuum cleaner: it is designed to collect dust, yet dust reaching critical internal components causes malfunction. Given the design, recurrence seems inevitable, even with meticulous maintenance in a normal 3-bedroom household. After return, a new safety issue arose: the docking station now trips electricity. Communication from Ecovacs support, particularly Chandre, has been minimal, delayed, and consistently fails to address the actual concerns raised. Despite my first detailed email on 17 February, followed by multiple emails and phone calls, as of 23 March I have still received no substantive response, only generic correspondence that does not resolve the issues. At one point, support even claimed the machine was “ready for dispatch” after it had already been returned, showing poor tracking and disregard for the customer. Given the design flaw, repeated downtime, minimal support, and looming warranty expiration, this is not a product/brand I can recommend. Think twice before buying – you risk losing weeks to repairs, dealing with recurring faults, and facing expensive fixes once the one-year warranty expires.
