A lady by the name Sizakele such a star, i enjoyed talking to her over the phone as she explained everything in full and in detailed .
It is so sad to be a tenant at Southgate Mall especially during as a pandemic situation where the are long ques everywhere. The center management has sent out news letter that tenants should que like everyone shopping, the saddest part is that most of employees has only 1 hour lunch to spend of which shops like Checkers, pick n pay and Game are the store where we can find a quick meal to eat. No one cares both store managers and center management. Having to work without eating is something else.
On the 23rd November 2019 in the morning I went to Checkers Southgate Mall to purchase cooked rice, On my lunch time I warned the rice only to find out that it was spoiled, I quickly went back and explained the disaster I just experienced only to find out I was assist by the rude white branch Manger, he gave me hell and shouted at me telling that the rice is okay and that he will eat it himself, he never wanted to gave me a chance as he was trying to impress other customers and his colleagues with my situation, I felt so embarrassed and mind you I am a diebtoic person and I couldn't fight back as I took my issulation and was shaking and dizzy. I am not sure why Southgate Checkers sells as horrible food or is it becouse it is surrounded by mostly blacks as i have once worked at Mall Of The South and never experienced as thing. I am really Hurt by the treatment I received as I am also a Store manager where I am working and would never treat anyone like that.
I BOUGHT A NOKIA ASHA AT SPORTSCENE IN AUGUST 2014, THEN IN JANUARY 2015 THE PHONE WENT BLANK , I THEN WENT BACK TO SPORTSCENE FOR REPAIRING AND THEY TOLD ME THEY NEEDED TO BOOK IT IN. SINCE THE DAY I LEFT MY PHONE NO ONE HAS EVER BOTHERED TO CALLED ME I WAS THE ONE FOLLOWED THE MATTER. THE GUY WHO TOOK MY PHONE RESGINED AND I WAS REFFERED TO SOMEONE WHO HAD NO IDEA ABOUT MY PHONE. I KEPT CALLING AND I WAS TOLD THAT THE MTN GUYS WERE ON STRIKE. UNTIL I STARTED PUSHING THE MATTER, THEN I WAS TOLD THAT MTN SENT ME AN SMS THAT THE PHONE WAS NOT THEIR MATTER BUT IT WAS MINE, THEY SAID I DAMAGED THE PHONE WITH SOAP AND I HAVE TO PAY A FEE FOR IT TO BE FIXED. AT FIRST I WAS TOLD MY IME NUMBER DOES NOT CORRESPOND. I FEEL THAT THIS MATTER WAS NOT TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION AND THE PHONE WAS NEVER TAKEN FOR REPAIRS.
