We were informed by MTN business that we could upgrade our 2 lines. They processed the upgrades but there was a mistake on the device, it was reversed and the new devices were processed. January invoices arrived and there were triple charges for devices. We queried it and were told these were charges for the old devices until the contract was finished. At no stage were we informed we would still be charged for past devices, this is not the way upgrades at MTN have worked when your contract hits the 20th month. Literally out line prices have increased 3 times, this is simply not possible or feasible for anyone to afford. We have logged series with out MTN business Rep Bronwyn Cooke and Uvisile Madikazi as well as through the MTN business help desk and the Meadowdale MTN store with Lukas Mphela the consultant who assisted us. The feedback we ave been given is that MTN is allowed to double charge to complete the past contract. Honestly I am shocked. MTN - you don't serve your customers, you just serve your profits.
I have been a client of this dealership for over 10 years and have had cars with them. The clutch and turbo blew on my Golf 6 in earl Dec 2024. After part delays and incorrect supp**** parts the vehicle was eventually returned to me on 28th February 2025. Communication was VERY poor from the service advisor and Service Manager. I had to report them to VW SA to get my car fixed and I requested the Dealer Principal to contact me or to meet with me. The vehicle was eventually fixed and returned to me, but still to this day no contact from the Dealer Principal even after a VW SA Complaint was logged. Don't take your car to this dealership, they don't care about the most ordinary clients who have been loyal to their brand and dealership. I have subsequently sold my VW and will never drive one again because of VW Barons Woodmead.
