Great service from the guard to the service department people, entered the dealership at 4:48pm, and the service was remarkable. Even though I went in with an issue for an Audi, these guys helped and made me and family feel so welcomed. Hats off to the Baron VW Woodmead and staff. God bless.

I have been a client of this dealership for over 10 years and have had cars with them. The clutch and turbo blew on my Golf 6 in earl Dec 2024. After part delays and incorrect supp**** parts the vehicle was eventually returned to me on 28th February 2025. Communication was VERY poor from the service advisor and Service Manager. I had to report them to VW SA to get my car fixed and I requested the Dealer Principal to contact me or to meet with me. The vehicle was eventually fixed and returned to me, but still to this day no contact from the Dealer Principal even after a VW SA Complaint was logged. Don't take your car to this dealership, they don't care about the most ordinary clients who have been loyal to their brand and dealership. I have subsequently sold my VW and will never drive one again because of VW Barons Woodmead.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding the level of unprofessionalism I’ve experienced at VW Barons Woodmead. The front-desk staff, in particular, have demonstrated poor customer service on multiple occasions. Unanswered Calls: The staff rarely answer their phones. For instance, I have tried contacting Kopano several times, but she is always "unavailable." Strangely, when I arrived at the dealership, she was seen walking around with the handset in her hand. Lack of Communication: Mpumi was assigned to assist with my car. However, she did not answer any of my calls, nor did she respond when my insurer attempted to contact her multiple times. Booking Difficulties: Booking a service over the phone is practically impossible because calls go unanswered. I even tried sending an email and received no response. This has happened to me twice now, and I can provide proof if necessary. To make matters worse, after leaving my car at the dealership at 8:00 AM, I was informed just before closing time (after 5 PM) that the car had not been serviced. When I arrived at the store, I still had to wait while someone went to collect my vehicle from the workshop. This level of service is unacceptable, and I hope that this feedback prompts the necessary improvements in customer care at your branch.

My Colleague sent his car for major service last week, yesterday when we were driving home from work, when making a turn all of a sudden there was a hamming Noice as if something was broken underneath the car, we then drove to a nearest garage, open bonnet and my collogue reverse vehicle whilst we examine what could be wrong, only to find out the engine was hanging, showing it was not supported correctly, only to find out the bottom supporting mountain( arm was loose, bolt and nut has come out and fell whilst we were driving. went to Baron this morning, spoke service Supervisor, the guy could not even hear us out, the arrogance, his customer service is so terrible, not even to apologies of the incident. he claims the bolt and nut we picked us as prove might not be coming out of the same vehicle, yet we have image of the car underneath showing the mountain has no bolt and nut, no support for the engine. engine is only supported on the sides but not underneath, it not even a full week after major service, how did this happen?

This is the third time that I am really impressed by the helpful, friendly and competent service I got from Barons Woodmead VW. I was immediately helped at reception by a friendly male person. After listening to my problem with my car, he went and called the Workshop manager. This gentleman walked with me to my car, tested the remote-control key, and then guided me to the friendly part dept guy to buy a battery. Then the workshop guy took the key to the workshop while I waited in the waiting lounge where coffee was available. He had an ingenious solution of bending the slack springs to their orginal position, and supporting the battery to make contact. He soon reappeared, we tested the remote on my car, and voila! It worked perfectly. Cost? The battery (R126). Smiles all around! Tip: Do not try pirate non-VW batteries, like I did. Do not mess with your car's remote, like I did. A new car key costs R4 000 plus.

1. Post-service, I noticed an air noise from the engine compartment when accelerating, indicating a lapse in the maintenance. 2. Upon revisiting the service center, the technician questioned external work on my car, raising concerns about their own service quality. I clarified that they were the exclusive service providers. 3. The recurrence of the same issue during the 60-kilometer service highlights a persistent problem and a lack of thoroughness in their maintenance procedures. Overall, a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience
