For the last two years I rented my house in Cape Town through PentaProp, which is owned by Arie Korf. The tenant has recently moved out but she cannot get hold of the Estate Agent, Arie Korf. He has stopped responding to our emails and whatsapp messages. This is a very frustrating time as the tenant is now demanding the rental deposit from me, even though Pentaprop is the one that sourced this specific tenant and all the monies were paid into their account. Please help !!!
On 19 March 2024 at approximately 23H30 I placed an order through UBEREats for a meal from Sbu Fusion Lab which cost approximately R190 (including delivery). Two (2) minutes later, I received a message indicating that my order had been completed before time. I then used the In-app customer help function to complain that I had not received any order. Initially, the UBEREats app indicated that the delivery person was still looking for me and that I should wait for atleast 15 minutes. This was despite the fact that the said order was supposedly completed with 2 minus, which entails order acceptance, order preparation, order pick up and delivery all happened within 2 minutes. After 15 minutes, I then sent them a complaint through their HELP function from within the UBEREats App. I received a message saying that I could not be refunded because it indicated that the order had been completed. I repeatedly sent them a message querying this wrong verdict. However, UBEREats has since ignored all my messages. I require my refund of R190 because the said order never arrived and I have all the details to prove this.
