Don't use/pay them ... awful experience. Apr25 booked for training - phone call on the morning advising training date to be moved. May25 phone call on the morning of training advising training date to be moved again. Jun25 emailed them day before training ot be advised that training cannot take place and date to moved again. Jun25 I cancelled and requested a refund - advised it will be done by end Jun25. Oct25 I followed up as no funds received - advised it will be done by end of Oct25. Dec25 I have followed up as no funds received - no response from them yet but I am not holding my breath!
Outsurance hiked my premium quite excessively a few months ago but I gave then a call today to review my rate and very happy with the outcome. It's a pity they can't always apply the best rate for a longtime customer, but utlimately am happy with the results. Service at the call centre was very friendly, helpful and detailed, a very good experience.
I popped in to the Canal Walk branch to see if they had any Gizzu Mini UPS available. Double the prices of the product in comparison to other sellers - preying on buyers that need these products due to load shedding. Salesman feeds me some BS about how they the only distributors due to agreement with suppliers and I won't be able to get the product anywhere else. I got the same product the next day from elsewhere at a third of the price. They need to seriously rethink their business culture.
Business Banking has a lot of work to do to be competitive with the other banks. Continuous "technical" errors when using the app and online account as well as problems when trying to make payments make it difficult to do business with Capitec Business. It should be simple things but Capitec are making it difficult. "Try again later" is not great customer service ... as if I don't have a business to run or urgent things to do and must change my day to work around their schedule. I never have these issues with FNB Business accounts.
CCD called me to confirm a date and time slot that would work for my delivery. I confirmed the date and time and it was subsequently confirmed via email and WhatsApp. I arranged to be available on the date and time only for nothing to be delivered, and no call forthcoming to advise me of such. When I called them they informed me the package could only be delivered the next week!! Wasting my time, and literally costing me money because my business needed that package asap! Useless and *********** pretty much sums up their service offering.
Converted my Vodabucks to a Sorbet voucher, but when my wife tried to use this voucher as payment at Sorbet she was told it was not valid. My wife did not have enough money on her to pay for the treatment and I had to rush away from work to settle the bill so that my embarrassed wife could leave the shop. I checked the SMS I received which reads as follows: Vodacom: Enjoy your purchase! Your Sorbet R500 Voucher number is ******xx to be used in store or online before 30/11/2024. T&C's apply. I called Vodacom immediately but nobody assisted with the issue nor was it ever resolved. This is a warning to those converting Vodabucks to vouchers ... DON'T!
Numerous bad experiences with PMG. Latest one is my booking was cancelled less than 24 hours before tee off. They didn't give me back my credit and I have lost out on booking another slot. Plenty of excuses, but customer service is just about non existent ... also completely incompetent and unprofessional. Please heed this warning to anybody thinking of joining. I most likely will cancel my contract soon.
I recently visited Builders Warehouse Cape Gate and got a little surprise when paying for my 2 items at the counter. First item marked price in store was R48 - amount charged was R65 Second item marked price in store was R54 - amount charged was R58 I am dumbfounded that both items I wanted to buy were incorrectly charged. I always pay attention to detail so that I don't get ripped off ... but how many others don't check what they are charged and have been ripped off by Builders Warehouse? This is an unethical business practice. They did at least refund me and charge me correctly second time around.
