My geyser burst on Tuesday morning, at about 7:30am. I called OUTsurance, and they processed the claim super quickly. The plumbers arrived at 10:30am and a new geyser was installed and ready just after lunchtime. Lizelle Gouws was great throughout, exceptionally helpful; she kept in touch and made herself available in case anything else was needed. Geyser bursts and such are unpleasant experiences, but OUTsurance and Lizelle made it bearable and ensured it was sorted out quickly.

I went to Il Giardino last night (Friday, 13 Feb), together with a group of professional musicians visiting from Europe. Because they had spent all day traveling, attending interviews and performing, the musicians did not get a chance to eat. We arrived at Il Giardino after 10pm and the kitchen was closed. Yet the staff were still kind enough to rustle up a few pizzas for the starving musos. Thank you
