In March 2019 I took a car with Ariva and I was assisted by a lady named Lucy Seketi, She advised me that at the end of the contact i will have to pay 10% of the car value to keep the car, unfortunately i did not request this writing because this was communicated telephonically. Now my lease is coming to and end in April 2023 and i am being told that I have to pay -+R96 960.00. The value of the case is -+-R140 000.00 and I am being told now that they calculate 80% of the purchased amount. I have been dealing someone by the name of Thenus Cloete who apparently is the manager who advised that Lucy is no longer working with ariva and what I was told does not apply and they cannot help me and no one else can help because of "Hearsay" I find this really unfair because this is why i took out the contract in the first place, this a total rip off. My Monthly installment is R5256.00 for R48 months, by the end of the term i would have paid R252 288,00. This is a total rip off.
This is the 2nd complaint i'm writing about this bad property managing company. We moved in march from Jabulani Mews, we completed the paper work (Th notice to cancel the lease agreement) and we moved. We 1stly had a problem with our deposit, 2ndly, there were charges on our statement which were incorrect and 3rdly this issue. The parking was not cancelled we have been billed from April to date (I dont know how you terminate a lease agreement and not terminate parking attached to it) now we are being told to complete the very same Notice to cancel Lease agreement form (Which was already completed in March) and get it signed by the building manager of Jabulani Mews. Now we have have moved out of that area completely and I do not see that being possible. The parking needs to be terminated based on the notice to cancel that was sent in March. I hope this is the last complaint!!
In March we moved out from a property we were letting Jabulani Mews Which is under Afhco property management. It took the 2 months to pay the deposit back. and now 5 months later we are receiving calls to say we are owing R1000 something because one of the Bedrooms has to be re-painted and that our account will be handed over to collections. I am very appalled by this because when we moved out we did the check out list and to my understanding the money was supposed to be deducted from the deposit BEFORE it was paid out. This is very unfair because now inconvenienced because of this company's incompetency. you people have a horrible management service
