My FNB credit card expired in February, I'm been paying my rain subscription using a link, however rain has been trying to bill me on my credit that has expired. Paid 2 months subscription because I couldn't pay in May... was only able to use the router for 3 weeks... Ive requested a cancelation since mid July and nothing is been done. Everyday they busy on my expired credit card trying to debit which om being charged R8 declined fees for transaction by FNB while my card has money, im upset with FNB charging me this amount as Ive reported this mattrr to them and they are aware that Rain is truing on an expired card. I don't understand how FNB canLloww this madness when the card has expired and they chaging me for this. Rain doesn't have my new card details for a reason. FNB is requesting a cancelation letter and this ****** useless support team at Rain is non responsive. They lodge tickets that are never attended to. Im so frustrated and FNB are not helping thinking of moving my account from FNB because of this.

I regret taking my child to Future Nations in Fleurhof. Im a single parent and after experiencing domestic abuse, my life and daughter lige was in danger. My work decided to move me to another province in FreeState to be precise . I informed the school that we relocating end March 2024.The school is requesting that I pay fees till July 2024. I seent themm letters from work and tried speaking to the Principal to no help.Im told that the pticipal /Head master or the stsff cannot assist wgen it comes to accounts. I've never received my daughter's report for first term and no transfer card. This school is not sympathetic and all they care about is money. My daughter was left stranded without a school because accounts refused to provide her report and transfer card. Im being threatened about the lawyers fees and having to pay for no services rendered . Im hardly affording basic things. Im a commission earner but the school not budging. πΏπ‘π‘π‘I need the Department of education to Intervene in this matter and to start investigating the private schools contract. I moved my child yo the school with understanding that she will do English and Afrikaans, only to learn and inductions that they no longer offer Afrikaans but only Zulu, the same contract they throwing an Ace card on me that they bridged
Please can we get the Ombudsman to investigate Damelin Correspondence College. I have emailed Damelin so many times and sent appeal letter. So many students are complaining on Hello Peter and we just being ignored by this criminal institution. I'm trying to buy a house and my credit profile says I owe Damelin for a student loan. Please can Sowetab, Special Assignment or SpeakOut get involved, so we can get this out at the bigger media space to warn future students. I have reported to the ombuds and busy with an attorney. Student number is 443038, I'm so stressed and regret the day I went online and decide to change my studies from Unisa to this Damelin. Please people be warned do not give your account number to Damelin they good in sending sms to debit and do unauthorized debit order and sending our ID numbers to credit bureau but has no agency to resolve complaints. I have tried calling numerous times to cancellations and accounts and all I'm getting thru is the consultants who tell you give your student number and will forward your query. Nothing is done. This is messing our lives
So I'm extremely enraged with Damelin. I registered last year December 2019. Paid registration fees and permitted the college to debit my account monthly. I have been paying my fees monthly till April due to Covid. My partner has been kept out of work without pay. Made arrangements with our finance house on our Bond to get relief and we received a 3 month break. I have heard no communication with Damelin rather than Debit order messages day before to notify me that they will be debiting. I was previously studying with Unisa and they quite informative. I changed courses due to be in a finance space and wanted a course that I could major in Marketing and Public Relation in one. Little did any of us know what 2020 had planned for us. I haven't submitted a single assignment to Damelin. I have been working from home with challenges since 23rd March. Reason to cancel my studies is due to the financial impact in my house hold and working from home challenges as I have a 4 year old at home since nursery schools are closed. I'm working 8 till 6pm at times. No time at all for anything in between. I feel overwhelmed and under tremendous stress. I have notified Damelin of my cancellation, tried numerous times to contact them to no avail. I have an email I sent in April only for them to respond a month later. Another email regarding me cancelling in June.. Where I received an email from them telling me that I need pay R6105 to cancel the studies. I haven't used any of their services. I'm not asking for a refund for months paid and registration which was R4 739.I'm asking for them to cancel as I cannot pay my fees or be able to study. No response as yet from them. I have emailed my ID copy, proof payment for R1850 for registration. Stated that I don't have a snner to sign the cancellation document. I haven't heard from Damelin u till yesterday with a news letter. Last night I went to check on My ITC and they sent my info Conouscan that I didn't pay. No lecturer or Tutor has been in contact to find out why they haven't received a single assignment and if I'm registering for exams. The only time I hear from Damelin is an sns day before fir debit order or that I've stopped debit order with my bank. People have lost their jobs, most families have been affected due to Covid-19. Last thing I need right now it's to be wanti f to take Damelin to court. I refuse to pay, they not the first institution where one cancels their studies. Why is that I'm obliged to pay fees when I'm not usi g any of Damelin services. I want this matter resolved before I take it higher. Student number 443038
