DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This service provider is the worst internet provider on the market. I pay for a 20mbs uncapped unshaped unthrottled line yet I cannot stream a single video on my smart TV. THEY CANNOT HELP YOU WITH ANY PROBLEMS YOU EXPERIENCE BUT BEWARE THEY WILL DEBIT YOUR ACCOUNT EVERY SINGLE MONTH. No one can assist me with my issue and this has been going on for 6 weeks. DO NOT USE THEM. USE ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU RATHER PAY FOR MOBILE DATA THAN USE THEM.
I have dealt with Lindsay Tregurtha from Rates Wizard on many occasions and she has been fantastic and amazing in sorting out a number of problems that our company had in relation to: 1. Resolving billing disputes; 2. Rates clearance applications and figure disputes; 3. Providing good and comprehensive advice to correct problems on accounts; I would recommend her services to anyone with a billing dispute on their municipal account. What a pleasure!
I had previously signed on to install fibre at my home. It took the service provider 3 months to attempt to install the Fibre in the complex and by this time my lease had expired and I had to move out. The banking details related to my cheque account and was on my profile. Months later, I purchased my new home and requested that they install fibre at the new premises. I attempted to sign on using the same cheque account and the system provided me with an error. This is when the entire process disintegrated. I called the call centre. No one was able to help me. At one stage, and after holding on for 20 minutes, a call centre operative starting speaking to me and then decided that he didn't want to deal with the query and then placed me at the back of the queue and I had to wait another 20 minutes for someone else to help. Even after this, that person could not assist. I tried the live chat as well. They tell me that I should call the call centre. I then created a new profile and was able to use my savings account number to order the product. This was accepted. I then called the call centre to attempt to change my banking account details and nothing has happened. In this respect: 1. I have emailed Afrihost 7 times and received 2 replies which have nothing to do with my query; 2. I have tried to call the call centre. They simply transfer me from one department to another. I spent 40minutes on the phone yesterday after being transferred to 2 departments and the person I was dealing with promised me that he would personally attend to the sales department to assist me and that he would call me back. That never happened. 3. I tried the live chat and this has been a complete waste of time; 4. I have now been sent an email to verify the savings account bank details. I have attempted to change the savings account bank details to a cheque account bank details and Afrihost is well aware of this. Why then would I want to verify my savings account bank details? 5. I have tried to change my bank details on my profile and it would not allow me to do this. I have even sent the error code to the sales department and nothing has been done. I do not understand why it has been this difficult to change my bank details. No one can help me. I would not recommend them to anyone. You will never be able to be assisted.
