I took up a life cover policy in 2009. I had a health check during covid and my weight did increase, and then they increased my premium. I have dropped a lot of weight but Liberty has suspended my advisor to log a health checkup since I requested it from last year. If the checkup is not done by end of Feb 2026, the I will have to move all my liberty policies elsewhere. Tel 0780388986

Moved away from Bonitas and then after doing all the noticing etc Bonitas reversed a treatment for my daughter after we left the fund.

My baby was born in a Life hospital. My wife fell ill shortly after and we had to go back to the hospital. The hospital locked the baby change room and the maternity ward advised me to use the chairs outside the ward, so there I am with a new born baby crying while changing diapers on chairs.
I joined salam provident/pension fund through an employer. The website is so confusing, with 2 engineering degrees I could not understand the statements showing the contributions into the fund. After a retrenchment and asking for an email statement Sanlam showed that the employer made late payments for more than 5 months without notifying me. For anyone considering to join Sanlam, you have to be very careful as they don't disclose late payments and allow the employers to utilise the contributions at low interest to fund the operations. Even after taking the matter to the PFA, the matter was simply closed since I was paid out. Sanlam to today has never given me even an apology for not reporting the late contributions.

The hospital sent through authentication requests to the medical aid being Bonitas with different discharge dates even tho both was discharged on the same day and within 1 hour, we drove together home. Hospital refuses to contact the medical aid and the medical aid refuses to contact the hospital. Some of the tests was reversed since according to the authorisation the patient wasn't admitted. I even drove to the hospital the one day so that I can make the call and use my phone just to be told the people are not there but far away. Nobody wants to assist me.

Finally won at the tribunal. The only way to win against the agency is to follow the legal process all the way.
