Before paying I asked them to confirm that they cover my area... They accepted and confirmed my order and I made payment. On the 17th of October, the day my delivery was due late afternoon they sent a WhatsApp msg to let me know they don't deliver to my area. It was highly inconvenient as I had a function to attend directly after work and would not have time to prepare dinner. I sent my banking details for them to refund me, I've asked for feedback on when I can expect payment but my messages are just being ignored. I'm convinced it's a scam, they confirm orders so you do the payment but have no intention of refunding your money.
Not even deserving of one star! Products advertised on website are totally different to what I received. They advertise NON GMO products on website but I received a different product brand that does not specify non gmo! I ordered Truefood black sesame seeds and received Majestic - they are not the same! I also ordered Himalayan salt of a specific brand and received iodized salt. Brand advertised on website was Redford Himalayan salt and I received Himalayan salt IODIZED!
On the 6th of August I ordered a circle triple stack pendant for a very special occasion - my daughter's 30th birthday on the 31st of August. ETA 27 August... 27 th came and went. I was told that the pendant would be couriered to the Sterns Alberton Branch on the 31st (D DAY!). At 3pm on the 31st I got a call from Gail (customer service in CT) telling me that the courier did not collect the pendant the previous day! How do they only find out at 3pm on the day that the pendant wasn't collected the previous day?? So needless to say, VERY disappointed that I did not get it on time for my daughter's birthday party that evening - I tried to be understanding even though SOMEONE blatantly lied about the courier collection. The pendant was delivered to the Alberton store on Saturday - I went there the Monday 3rd of September to collect. One of the birthstones was the wrong colour! Still being polite and understanding ... although I'm trying to figure out HOW it passed quality control with THAT obvious mistake?? I was the one that informed Gail that there was a mistake on the pendant, even though the Alberton branch said they will email her right away - communication between the various departments seems to be seriously lacking. Various emails back and forth between Gail and me acknowledging the mistake and confirming that it will be fixed. Today, 17 September I get a call from Sterns Alberton asking me to explain what I want to be done on the pendant. ITS STILL IN ALBERTON - they haven't bothered to send it back to the CT department yet! TWO weeks down the line, various email confirmations as to what needs to be done and now I'm told it will take another 3 weeks!! ETA 8 October - if I'm lucky.
