VFS Globa DHA put up a system which am not sure whether they are able to use or if they do have very *********** people in offices of public service. My sister processed her application on their portal and went to deposit the required amount with the bank "cash deposit of R3100.00" and that was on 22/07/2024. This transaction has not been updated on their system, we are running into the fourth month now with this issue still not resolved. Followed up with their helpline and email: DHA Helpline Tel: (+27) 012 425 3000) / info.dhasa@vfshelpline.com, still with no success. It's either you are told to check after 2 days or you are not even allowed to go further other than the security point if you visit the office. What boggles the mind is whether there is anyone who does the bank or some bookkeeping of some sort, am sure they should have picked that there is an unallocated deposit that hasn't been processed. the deposit has a reference and everything is up to scratch from her end other than the R30 she paid extra as this was an ATM deposit.
Their refund process is just a nightmare. The process follows an initial email that you have to send to a robot which does not help solve the problem. It's so frustrating that you continuously get machine-generated responses for the whole week or so.
Pray that you do not get to a point where you will have to visit absa hatfield branch. The service is a total nightmare. I understand banks are automating but its crazy beleive you me, if its something that would require a peraon not a robot. 2 hrs waiting in a que waiting and there was just 1 person infront of, had to walk away.
Please stay clear of this service garage. I had a problem with the front diff of my bmw x3. After reading a write-up on a board mounted at the front of their reception, i walked in and enquired if they could fix my car. The lady at the front desk called another guy for me from the back. To cut this short, they told me they would fix the car and the total cost would R9300.00. They demanded the whole amount upfront, I had my doubts but still i paid them. Apparently the wife runs the admin and they husband 'the guy' is the supoosed mechanic, and they hv their 2 daughters manning the reception area. After paying the asked amount, they started promising week after week and nothing was done. I demanded my car back after a month, they still promissed again to fix it and asked for more days, 2 weeks later still nothing. I had to take my car back with more demages instead, he ********** the screen sprinklers among other demages and promised to buy them but it was just a bluff. They are not genuine in their operations, the family is hungry and they cant wait to grab the next unsuspecting client. Fore warned fore armed, i lost R9300
'' Miway!! it's as good as you do not have insurance for your valuables, nothing more. I cannot even begin to explain how they treated me. Just had to walk way on realising that I did not have the financial muscle to take them on.
