Don’t use this agency. Here’s my experience dealing with their “29 years in the business”; 1. They have dropped me on three different inspection arrangements when I moved into my apartment, one of these occasions I drove for 2 hours to be in Johannesburg as I was relocating from a different province. Then they lie and say it was never arranged and they tried to call me, but I HAVE CALL LOGS AND WHATSAPP MESSAGES PROVING THAT THEY DID DROP ME ON INSPECTION ARRANGEMENTS. No sense of accountability or ownership. They blatantly lie to try and shift blame to their customers when they’re the ones who dropped the arrangements. NOT ON. 2. The apartment was filthy when I moved in and not cleaned at all. 3. There was no repainting done to the apartment before I moved in, even though there was enough time to do this from their side, so I am sitting with scuffed and chipped paint on the walls from the previous tenant. 4. The complex had certain restrictions on vehicle loads, which the agency is aware of, but they did not tell me about it, so I had to manually haul my furniture through the complex’s dustbin site to get it to my apartment. 5. They made no effort with the complex site manager to notify them that I’ll be moving in on the confirmed date I had with the agent, so the move was brought to a stand still until I got the right papers signed to move in (Which I has to arrange myself from the complex management ). 6. There is ZERO after sales service from them. In fact, when I raised the above issues to them, I only got excuses and responsibility shift kind of blame games - no taking ownership of the issues, no resolutions to the issues, only excuses. Don’t use this agency, they are extremely unprofessional. So unprofessional that you would think they are trolling you.
I went to Telkom in Centurion mall on the 27th of May to cancel my account, filled in the discontinue papers, made a copy of my ID. Somehow they never filed the papers for cancellation and now I am still getting billed for a service I'm not using. Then I went to the same Telkom in July, had to fill in the same papers and give another copy of my ID. They probably lost these papers as well. Why must I pay for the mistakes of a company? Why don't they have an online cancellation facility so I can have record of the cancellation request? Doing things on paper like its 1950. Telkom is the most unprofessional and pathetic service provider in South Africa. I won't pay for the mistakes of your unorganised organisation. I won't be held accountable for a service that had to be cancelled 2 months ago because your employees can't handle paperwork.
