I checked in yesterday afternoon and i was given room 520. My room had no phone or remote to the television. I could not contact reception or ask for help. I called their landline from my cellphone and only was answered after 15minutes. After 30minutes, i still had not received any assistance and the phone was not being answered once again. I walked all the way to reception to go find help. Only to find the 2 gentlemen at reception unoccupied, hotel lobby empty and quiet. So what could be the reason for non-assistance or answering of phones form 5:30pm till 6:15pm..... I was so disappointed in the 2 gentlemen's service. And the high regard i usually have for the facility totally diminished!!!
In May 2018 I cracked the screen of my phone and I stopped using it. I kept it in my laptop bag because I had intentions of getting it fixed. I then misplaced the phone so I called MTN to blacklist it. They informed me that it had been unused for a while. So they had to white list it first before black listing it. I was given the following ITC No: ********** 6 I have since found my phone and I called asking for it to be white listed. I am having no joy in that regard and its been a week. They requested no documents when blacklisting it and now they require every document under the sun to white list it. I have no issues in providing the information. But you would hope that a phone that is on contract with MTN and insured with MTN would allow easy information collaboration. I am so ****ed off and so inconvenienced right now because my phone is just not working. I sent them the affidavit as requested that I have now found the phone. They sent me back an email still requesting the affidavit along with my ID copy and proof of purchase. I have no issue with resending the affidavit and a copy of my ID. I have no issue in sending my proof of purchase (which I have to go inside an MTN store to get). But that will not assist them because the phone I initially bought (IMEI No: ********** ********** 4 Rose Gold iPhone 6S) was replaced by the insurance to be an iPhone 6S Gold (IMEI no: ********** ********** 7). And I am getting no luck with the call centre agents when explaining my story. I really need to get my phone working ASAP Mrs NW Melamane ********** 352
