Getting vehicle ownership documents from this team is an absolute nightmare. Emails are either responded to days later or often ignored. Zero follow through even telephonically. Service levels absolutely shocking!
I’ve seen a few negative reviews about this pharmacy so writing one after my now 3rd visit. The pharmacy is a community, independent type so don’t expect a Dischem. I’m a supporter of small business so this isn’t an issue for me. The lady at the front is friendly and greets upon entry. The Pharmacist (Jaco) presents stern, a demeanour that can easily be misunderstood. He has assisted me and has fulfilled my scripts each time. I’ve noticed he reciprocates the energy you give him and is actually quite warm to fami**** faces based on my observation of his interactions. No complaints on my side. I’ll be back!
I came here to fill a script I have filled before. After talking to and following up with the pharmacist telephonically for a week about my medication, he was able to accommodate me to fill my script, advising I could come and collect. Upon arrival, the pharmacist and team are helpful and friendly. My issue however is with regard to pricing. When I announced my arrival to collect, I was quickly requested to go to till to make payment. An amount of R3999.35 was manually rung up for medication that according to Single Exit Price (SEP) is R2478.53. I was being charged R1500 more than I should be paying. I am on chronic medication and whilst the medication I am on has recently reached peak demand, this is the first pharmacy where I have experienced mark ups of 60% on schedule 4 medication. When I expressed shock at the inflated price, I was merely asked whether I was aware what the going rate in the black market was. I was perplexed by this statement coming from a registered pharmacy. I took the medication regardless as I need it. Whilst the pricing of medication in South Africa is regulated and other pharmacies abide by, this doesn’t seem to apply to Waterfall Centre Pharmacy. Highly exploitative and disappointing.

I have only had positive experiences of shopping at Iconomy stores, more-so with the Nicolway team. I recently made my first online purchase from them and perplexed at how this is the same company. I ordered x3 products from them for delivery, 1 of which is incorrect. I flagged this through their contact email and they responded with confirming that the incorrect product was correct despite this being untrue, claiming the supplier has merely changed product names and packaging, that the contents remain the same. This type of response may have worked for someone who was unfami**** with the product. Unfortunately, that is not the case with me. They literally **** to cover up the error. So off-putting! The item in question is less than R500 and I have to spend my valuable time having this rectified by them. Appalling!
I was referred to Dr Adzatia by one of the GP’s at Morningside Mediclinic as my issue required ENT expertise. From my first appointment, I appreciated how he respected my time as a patient, ensuring I didn’t wait long at reception, whilst granting me his, with a high level of patience during my appointment. He is gentle, caring and has an upbeat, positive demeanor. What I value most is that he is a Dr who wants to explore all available options before recommending surgery. I can’t praise him enough. Excellence personified.
The facade this company portrays via social media and at face value is phenomenal. Deal with them and it will be an uphill battle. Operational inefficiencies, Dishonesty, False Promises, Overall disregard of customer unless is how I would sum them up. They will leave you with incomplete work after you have paid them in full. Their MD, Terence Katiyo, not available for escalations according to their team. Don’t waste your time and money with Canvas and Wall.
The quality of service levels of this dealership has clearly dwindled over the years. I recently brought my mostly stationery vehicle for diagnosis on an unusual smell coming from the exhaust of the car. The only diagnosis I received was that the battery voltage was low, was charged for a new battery, oil change and diagnosis. I still don’t what is wrong with the vehicle and forced to take it elsewhere for the same issue. Absolutely Ridiculous!
Purchased a property from one of their subsidiaries. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend them.
