We are in our 3rd year with GoSolr. Paying for a faulty system and paying Eskom at the same time. We constantly have power dips. Our oven and aircon switches on and off all the time. We had technicians out several times. The last visit they said “oh no” this must be a Eskom problem. We logged a fault with City of Cape Town. They came out the same day. They tested the voltage coming in from the sub-station and found no fault. They suggested we get a certified electrician to assess. He was horrified to see the wiring in our DB box done by GoSolr. I wish I could post some photos. The report says that all our appliances are at risk. I sent the report to Ahka and Lelo at Gosolr more that 48 hours ago and no reply. They just don’t care… I will not recommend this company to anyone, not even my enemy. EMPTY promises all the time.

Not even worth 1 star. This company contact you to unflag your name when you are under Debt Review. Ivan calls every 5 minutes of the day to irritate you to make a decision. Promises 21 days to clear your name. Then you make the first payment and everything falls apart. They do not distribute your money. Promises to send the documents. Watch out, they are thieves!! They claim to be trading und First 4 Mothers with the NCR.
This company has given us excellent service before we signed up with them. The sales rep offered us better service, faster internet speed, etc. for less than we paid at that stage. The whole process before the contract was signed went smooth with no hassles. We are now 6 month down the line and struggling with poor connection, very low internet speed and no after sale service. They signed us up for a 6 year period after the offered us a month to month no strings attached option. They financed the hardware installed for 10 times the price and we had to take out insurance for the large amount. We are currently paying the same as with previous service provider, but the service is horrendous. No way to get out of this contract and stuck for 6 years. How crazy is that!
