I payed this company in Dec 2021 for a phone that I never received. When one calls they either offer and excuse , or simply don't answer any of their official channels. Do not buy from this online scam
<p>So I ordered from their website almost two months ago, the parcel makes it to South Africa from the UK (oh wait, I thought Myprotein was SA based in the first place, it never mentions import taxes to foreign countries at a first glance or when one checks out & pays- highly disingenuous) just to get "delivered" by a courier company that no-one in South Africa still uses, the courier "service" of the SAPO since parcels always get "lost" or "damaged" in the process. But instead of sending me a replacement with a reliable courier service or just refunding me, they have been stalling me since 6 Feb 2017, in other words A MONTH, because they "cant get hold of" the courier service. Why make your bad choice in courier service the problem of the client? You also had no problem in immediately billing me for it?</p>
I went on holiday overseas with my wife end of last year. I have been to Namibia many times and always used my credit card to pay for everything and to draw money. I always provide dates/location for my travels. End of last year I tried to draw money,it failed. I tried every ATM in town from all types of banks.When I contacted ABSA via email to tell them I can't draw money, they assumed I didn't know what I was doing even though I was well aware of the daily limit&costs. Two days before returning to the RSA my credit card stopped working altogether,ABSA only phoned me on the day I was back in the RSA.Today, my credit card still gives the same error on mobile banking terminals at shops&restaurants and still ABSA hasn't told me what is wrong. If I had booked my car on my credit card, I would have missed the plane because I could not have paid the outstanding amount, would have no money to to check into a hotel and would most probably be detained because I could not pay the car rental agency. BEWARE! ABSA doesn't care about its clients, doesn't support them overseas as travellers, rather apply for another credit card at a reliable bank.
I ordered the Garmin Forerunner 225 with Quenets since their price was the best online and no additional hidden fees appeared once I registered an account and ordered the product (as with another online service provider I tried on the exact same watch). The service was good and when I received the parcel someone had hand wrapped the watch like a personal gift and had added a hand written note to the parcel, what a nice finishing touch, it felt like I just received a birthday present from someone!<br> <br> Well done!
