After a few months of searching online for a good trustworthy secondhand dealership which I feel I could trust and was very effective in their communication with me I came to Grayston Motors and was contacting back by Naoh Muparuri. Naoh answered my questions late at night and never stop comunicating. He was the only salesman in many I contacted who send me the car VIN nr without any questions, so that I could run a VIN check on the car. He even made all arrangements to pick me up with my new car when I travelled a long way to get to Gauteng. He even filled up the car with fuel for my 800km journey home. He even check on me to see that the journy and car went all well back home. This dealership is honest and have pride in their service. Well done Naoh.
I bought a generator from them. Paid 50% dep on 25 March 2021. Till today the owner are making promises to pay me back my money because he did not deliver the generator at all as promised in April. It is now 3 months and my bussenis is standing during loadshedding because I do not have a generator or my money back to buy another. I would worn everyone to not make use of any bussines name wher Erik Murray or Marius Botha is involved. Therer num is as follows 081 8310770, 0742183343, 0824688427.
I pay 50% deposit for a new FAW generator in the bank account of the owner Mr Erik Murray on the 25 March 2021. The delivery was supposed to happen in 2 weeks. Mr Murray had excuse on excuse till I ask him middle May to rather pay my money back. It was then he started saying to me he has got financial problems and I must wait till he gets money into his bussines again. On Thursday 10 June 2021 he confirmed he have money and will pay it in my account by the 11 June 2021. I believe Mr Murray is not honest to his clients and will try and do the same with other clients where he does not deliver generators as promise. I will not recommend his business. The address for his factory on his invoice is also fraudulant not his premises but another generator supplier in Gauteng. This I found out only when I tried to track him down. He also does not answer the phone and speak to me anymore. Does not answers watsup. I will have to go to an attorney and it is going to cost me more money. In the mean time my factory is standing in load shedding times due to Mr Murray poor service or theft of my money and I cannot afford to buy another generator before I do not get my money back. I hope by this review more people can be warned not to make use of Generatorsworx or Power Solution which his other bussines, dealing is solar systems.
We bought a house in April with a bond from Standard Bank. We did not sign/give permission for any life insurance or short term insurance. We picked up that a short term insurance was taken out on our name, withour our permission, and we stopped that. Then we were shocked when we realised more than R2000 were debited from our account for a life insurance. We did not sign anything. We did not give permission for this. We received phone calls offering insurance, but we declined it. We also just received a letter saying that we took out a protection plan, that we did not take out. The monthly amount is almost the same than our bond repayment! Unbelievable. We visited the local Standard Bank regarding the life insurance, they made some phone calls and then told us to send an e-mail. We have sent an e-mail and still haven't heard anything or received our money back. We are urgently waiting for confirmation that the insurance and now the protection plan, was cancelled and that we will receive our money back. We have our own life insurance that covers the home loan, but was never asked for proof of it. It seems like standard bank is taking money wherever they can - without permission!
