I ordered a eyeshadow and eyeliner from them and have not received my goods yet. My emails to naledi.seattle@gmail.com is not being answered. Do not order anything from them as it seems they are ****ming people into buying goods that they cannot deliver.
On the 1st of May 2024, I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G 256GB Dual Sim - Titanium Violet + SmartTag2 from Takealot and paid R28 499.00 for it. I received it on the 8th of May 2024. After opening the plastic wrapper I saw that one of the seals were not in tact. After opening it, in the box I discovered a stuffed up black phone that looks like it being rolled down the street a couple of times. I immediately phoned Takealot and told them to come and uplifted this *******, as this is not what I have ordered and paid for. They collected it the very next day, and according to them it reach their inspection facility on the 11th of May 2024. To add to my frustration, Takealot's response has been far from satisfactory. They informed me that I need to wait 3-5 days for them to conduct an inspection before they will issue a refund. Only after this process is complete can I reorder the phone, which means an additional wait of 3-5 days. Essentially, I am looking at almost three weeks before I will get the phone I urgently needed. It feels incredibly unfair that I, as the customer, am the one who has to bear the inconvenience and delays caused by what seems to be a serious issue in either Takealot or MXM's warehouse's. If there are ******* or serious lapses in their shipping department, it is the company’s responsibility to rectify these issues swiftly and ensure customer satisfaction. I have always trusted Takealot for my purchases, but this experience has severely shaken my. I therefore, recommend that if you need a phone, do not order it through Takealot and do not use their supplier MXM either, as you never know what you will receive in your parcel. Rather go into a shop and pay for your phone. At least you can see that you are buying, and you can go home with the phone in hand. Takealot advertise that returns are hussle free. This is false advertising!
I placed an order on the 19th of November and the payment went off my bank account on the 20th of November 2023, and my goods are not delivered. I have tried to phone them on multiple occasions, but their phone line does not even ring. I have send multiple emails, and whatsapp messages. The whatsapp messages they don't even read. I get emails stating that they are attending to my query, but nothing happens. Nobody must please place any orders with them online for delivery, because you won't see your money or your goods.
I paid Outbox Agnecy quite a bit of money on the 2nd of July 2022 to redesign my webiste and to get the SEO's sorted. I was promised 10 days at the most. On the 2nd of October it will be 3 months down the road and the website is still not completed. I got multiple promises from guys called Karim and Brian that it will be sorted out as soon as possible, but to no avail. Again I was promised via whatsup by Karim last week that it will be sorted by the 22nd of September 2022, but he has done absolutely nothing to the website since he made the promise. I want to do business and refer people to the website, but I cannot as not all the products are featured on the website, and the wrong phone number is listed.
